Metal Detectors Creed
Looking down into my muddy hole, was finding metal my only goal?
I think not fore I've spent many days, looking and searching in many ways.
Now I've finally found what I was looking for, a few less treasures but a whole lot more!
Looking down into the hole again, I noticed how quiet it had been
Then out of the hole came what I expected least...
A whole lot of quiet and a whole lot of peace ;)

Metal Detecting Vermont Hunt # 259
After detecting Roger Stevens Sr. homesite (1770-1795) I went looking for Roger Stevens Jr.'s (1773-1778) located about 3 miles away. It took me a couple of months but I located it on the crest of a hill in the middle of a hay field. Thanks for watching and Enjoy!

Colonial homesite found in the side yard of a manufactured home. Cellar holes are Ok but a 200 yr old homesite hiding in plain sight is always better.

What was its name? Thinking a cross of R2D2 for sound and ET for inter-species communication. So... "Phone Home" ?... yep.
Bird2 Flew2 🤣
I was doing a roofing job by myself in rural Michigan whistling while I was working when I heard a bob white, he was waiting at the bottom of my ladder. The next day I brought some scratch chicken feed just in case, sure enough he returned every day. We spent my lunch breaks eating and talking until the job was done. Hope he had a good life, haha. Great finds again Mud Dog.
A+ Button is a button. A talking partridge, is like a feathered Scooby-Doo ! Experience worth more by a wide margin.
Well played! Take the time when you have the time. The bird got the food, we got the memories!! Thanks for watching!!
