My question to God is usually "how God".….my gut seems to have a mind of its own, even though my mind I quote the Word over & over.

I have been having attacks against my finances. I don’t know why this is happening when I have been working so hard and following the Lord.

Thank you for your comments and question. Systems ----- I used the word systems, meaning an organized set of interrelated principles and ideas; in this message, I referred to God and His Word. That is how He created all that exists here and will continue to unveil as we wait for the coming of His Son, Jesus Christ. Therefore, He encourages us from the beginning of His Word to study and teach it to our family. Deuteronomy 6:1-3, 6-9 NIV, These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3 Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. Systems help us stay in order and progress according to His standards-precepts and commandments. For example, when you do construction, you follow plans, and when you repair, you use equipment. There is an order as you follow the instructions. You need to follow steps to achieve your objectives and goals. 1 Corinthians 14:33 NIV- For God is not a God of disorder but of peace-as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people. 1 Corinthians 14:33 NLT- For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people. The Supremacy of the Son of God- God’s Divine Order - His Plan As part of God’s plan - Colossians 1:15-20 NIV The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. God also has plans for each one of us- Jeremiah 29:11 NIV- 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. That’s what I referred to with the word system- because all His Word is interrelated. He is the Alpha and Omega- beginning and end, Truth, Wisdom, Strength, Fortress, Peace, those are a sample. It's important for believers to be like Bareans, who searched the Scriptures before accepting what is said by others. They told Paul they heard him, but they needed to search the scriptures to verify what he told them.

This is the same verse I often mentioned to my former pastor because we as board members, we knew he didnt reach out personally- one on one- to ALL the members of his flock. He would always ask the board members to do this. I had to bring up this verse, a few times each time he asked us & of course he would say "I do".

I totally agree but I must confess that it is hard for me at certain times with only one person to forgive, forget, and move on. Powerful teaching. Convicting. We need to spend time in His word in order to know Him, His will, His plans and purposes for our life. Praying that God will shine a light in our lives and expose the idols that need removal is essential because those idols block our relationship with Him, and thus cause and/or wreak havoc in our lives.

Great teaching. I don’t believe in New Year’s resolution. I agree with setting priorities and praying about them for the New Year. I also concur with using technology to stay plugged into God’s word and listening to Praise & Worship that uplifts, and encourages your soul. Jesus did quote Old Testament laws in order to bring attention to the essence and spirit of the law and bring attention to God’s heart and love for humanity to establish a deeper and personal relationship with Him. Love how you give us the Bible verses to read on each point.
