How do I set it up?

How big can you go? Also, is the medium passed through the machinery (like paper through a printer) or is the graphic applied to the medium? Essentially what I want to "print" on is audio rack 1u blank aluminum panels with flange on the back. These come powder coated but I want a custom design. Check out Middle Atlantic PBL-1 for reference.
