How to you get the in cockpit dialog to be in English? I already got all the graphics to switch the English.
Didn't think we would see this happening again with another third party dev five years later. This whole thing with RAZBAM makes me nervous.
ED changed their internal policy after what happened with VEAO. All 3rd party devs have to give their source code to ED, so if they abandon something, ED can continue to develop it, or finish it off.
@@504smudge Razbam employees have stated that ED does not have the source code. The Strike Eagle contract predates the change made after the Hawk. Realistically, even if they did have the source code, how is ED going to have the time or the resources to take over all of Razbam's modules? Not to mention, they would have to learn how the source code works.
Sir, I don't know if you remember. I flew with the 169panthers and I have fond memories of a vvs504 mission called supply lines and I always flew on the red side. I remember taking off from the Maykop base and going to attack armored vehicles in the middle of the Caucasus Mountains. It was pretty fun. Unfortunately I lost contact with the people of 169. I continue flying, now known as DCS world.
Good times, that really was the best times I had flying in LOCKON. Do you do much flying now?
@@504smudge With life's commitments, I try to balance playing online with friends. There are times when I have more free time. You must imagine what it's like. But lately I've been playing a lot.

I am pretty much like you. I fly my own missions, missions I find on the DCS Forum and occasionally the multiplayer servers. Mainly the Enigma Cold War server. I never tried the included missions and now I have started a goodly collection of modules, I have enough missions and campaigns to last months. I too shall give them a try. Nice video. Liked and subbed
I'd love to see a video this thorough for the other warbirds, this is how one teaches!!

Not true the tail warning radar activates if anything disrupts it's beam to indicate if Anything gets on your tail. Otherwise what good is it if it would only puck up radar equipped aircraft seeing as though very few actually carried it. And turn on the cockpit lamps.

I came to DCS after the Hawk had already been depreciated. What happened with it?
The developer VEAO had a falling out with ED, the module was a mess, and they didn’t have the skill/resources to fix it. So they left ED/DCS and the module was removed. You can still fly it, but have to download DCS 2.1 to do so
@@504smudge And now nobody can develop a Hawk? What was wrong with the module itself?
I think anyone could do a hawk if they wanted. The hawk had a few issues, textures were janky, the flight model was really basic. No damage model, lot of systems didn’t work as they should.. that kind of thing

My terrain does this.. jitters? looks like claymation? its not smooth, and makes target ident, or spotting airplanes, impossible? What fixes this? And which settings?
maybe try deleting the FXO and metashaders2 folders under savegame/DCS this can fix weird texture issues

Hmmm well a ‘stinger’ is a IR (infrared) missile, wouldn’t set off a Radar Warning Receiver so no Beep Beep before the bang.. 😉
Anyone discovering this now, this module has been removed from DCS. But there is a community free Goshawk. and I believe the hawk has been made for MSFS.

I know this is an old video, but any idea what is used for camera control here?I just started using a headphone mounted head tracking clip, but can't get that degree of movement (especially the backwards/forwards motion).
