I mean no disrespect at all, but I was disappointed that everything was "turned to 11" so to speak. There were no dynamics...just loud and heavy. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath lacked the dialed-back clean sounding chorus....Symptom of the Universe was ended without the jazzy/funky second half. One of the things that made Sabbath so special was that they frequently would take a single song in two, three, or even four completely different directions. It wasn't just balls to the wall heavy and loud from start to finish.

Just made my way through these in depth looks at certain tunes, and I am the kind of nerd who loves presentations such as this, and well as all the written info provided from Bandcamp, I understand this was a covid shutdown type thing, and time may not allow for these to continue, but if I were to request an in depth look, mine would be the SFFG record, as it was my 1st discovery of the band, thru Small Stone. It holds a special place for me being the 1st discovery of the band. Any one of the tunes from Silver Olympus thru Yes My Lord would make for a fascinating informative look at that time period. I love them all. I am aware that the awesome tunes after were a different earlier time period of the band, still love those versions, as well as the earlier recorded versions.
I'm lovin' this! After reading more details Mr. Tony Reed is very generous to provide in notes about recordings, I have to say F#1 looks like he forgot how to grip his lumber in the first tune LOL. He damn sure didn't forget how to play though, of course. But I almost caught that wild flying lumber way down in Louisiana. On a serious note, I've never had the privvy to see this lineup, but have seen Booth and Garrett (fucking awesome they were), as well as Booth and Scotty (at The Lost Well in Austin). In summary, two is usually better than one, applying to Most Generator lineups...

this is really cool. i like the trick little shifts. the 2nd and 3rd tracks with the guitars add alot. the drum and bass sounds are great. (that txn is a monster). you can hear a lot of hard work in this. well done guys. hope to see you again soon.
Thank you for taking time with it and for the kind words. The weird thing is that these are demos. we meant to reconvene and re-record every thing but never got around to it. The album was meant to be a double album so I'm finishing up the companion album for release next year.

Thank you Iggy, the sound guy multitracked it so I was able to mix it. Oddly enough, the vocals weren't captured so I mixed in the audio from the camera mic to bring in the vocals.
