Coupe Concept Design Biro Pen Drawing Time-Lapse

Just a quick pen sketch of a large coupe concept car in side view to loosen up a bit. Nothing special here, just a fine-point black Bic Biro, a pad of 11"x17" (A3) marker paper, and a design I created with no real rhyme or reason. Enjoy and thanks for watching! Too Fast To Race - The Full Story of the 'Group B' Racing & Rally Sports Cars
zhlédnutí 35KPřed 6 lety
The 'Group B' International Motorsports Category was conceived in the late seventies as a return to the good old days when amateur and factory teams alike could run the same production-based cars in either sports car racing or championship rally events. By the early eighties the class had become the 'Godzilla' of the rally scene and what resulted were the most awesome race cars ever seen on the...
D&D Grand Sport Corvette Replica Promo Video

This is the D&D Corvette Grand Sport replica promotional video. I received this video on VHS tape from D&D Corvette many years ago when I inquired about their Grand Sport replica. D&D Corvette are no longer around, but they were one of the first - if not THE first - company to produce a Corvette Grand Sport replica. And while there have been other Grand Sport kits to enter the market since, D&D...

Finished on Walter beating ari on pikes peak ari beat Walter with the 405 the next year my dad got a 405 gtdt later that year it's still the best car he's ever had. His first diesel it had a turbo boost gauge which was cool he didn't get a car as quick till alfa146 1.8 T spark I've owned 3, 2 1.8s one 2.0 the 1.8s are the best engine I've had
That MG Metro is insane. I have driven it virtually on Forza Horizon.
It never ceases to amaze me when people mispronounce names (Lan-cia) even though they have segments in their videos where the names are pronounced correctly (Lan-cha).
At Monte when he was passed by Audi, Timo Salonen said to his co pilot, these 2WDs are shits worth. He was driving a Nissan.

This intro is magnificent
If the fans want to risk their life to watch the excitement of ralley racing, then that’s their personal decision. Crazy how people are able to jump from airplanes legally but not let able to watch a dangerous race.
Someone killing himself on his own is one thing, but in rallying, there is also a car involved. You can not force a driver to live with the fact that he or she killed someone, even if that person is an idiot. There is actual footage of drivers after the Portuguese rally saying they didn't like coming to Portugal, that they don't want to live for the rest of their lives knowing they killed somebody.
How about you give a documentary of the group a rally in the 90s That era was legendary!!!
Ive seen 2 959 in north America
The music is 100% wrong!
The crazy thing about the Quattro is that, other than the wings and spoilers, it was a very ordinary looking "3 box" design. The Lancia, Ford, Peugeot, Renault, etc looked pretty wild.
We will never see these days again!!!
The true story of how idiot so called fans used to jump in front of the cars and managed to get killed and spoil it for everyone.
I vaguely remember being a little boy age 8-10 when I was glued to the TV tube in the living room at weekend afternoons when these Rallyes were broadcast. Rallye was No.1 excitement due to the exotic and ever changing landscape, closely followed by the endurance horror of 24hrs Le Mans with their insane prototypes. Those were the Days of Thunder, man.
🥉
This was great! By far my favorite Leman documentary.
Again the design is good but you need to work on your ellipses. Wheels seem to be your Achilles heel.
It’s a good effort in regards to the design. The only criticism if I may is that the perspective is slightly out, especially the wheel rims, the eclipses haven’t been drawn correctly and look off. Take it as constructive criticism.
As thrilling as they are, they were obsolete by the time they saw daylight. Zora Arkus Duntov declared this body " not a good car but a bad airplane " The cure would have been to flip the nose upside down and mount mount the engine amidships. Then deliver the ol' mess to Texas where Jim Hall would rechristian them as his Chaparral series. True story . Chucho Agrelot
Still dont understand the grip they had in the rain... was everyone else on slicks?.... this is Legendary Racing. Tip of the hat to Gordon Murray. Just Genius!!!
Rohl vs Michelle? Lmao
We need group B back. Everyone on the side of the roads be damned they forfeit everything by being there. Fuck safety, bring back fun
Without his accident, JJ Lehto would've been a serious threat to Schumacher and Hakkinen in F1. Quite unfortunate for him.
50:38 starts the circuit racing portion of Group B
Group B Rally, Formula 1 Turbo, Group C…the 80s were the golden age of motorsports
My words 👌👍
Don't forget the Aero wars in NASCAR.
The golden age of civilization as well
this car had very noisy gearshift

One of the most amazing stories ever to come out of Le Mans, and that really is saying something.
I won a PS5 with GT7 from Michelin in Panama mentioning this special F1 GTR in my commentary to participate for the prize😂🙌 My favourite car until the end of times🔥♥️
He forgot to mention the best of lemans...the unbeatable Ford gt40
The F1's my all time favorite car; it would be a dream to drive one of them someday. A man can dream.
So we take away from this: 1. that BMW in the McLaren was just an awesome combination 2. 0:25 beautiful women in the grid, looking happy, and no one has a problem with it. Unthinkable today. How sad and humor-free this society has become.
The German said 'its a properly designed car' that's the highest praise indeed. proof Gordon Murray is a God
When EA doing make sense.
Gordon Murray we all salute you.....👏👏👏
I don't like that 10 inch windshield.
i liked the race car but always hated the road car, its hideous, makes me cringe just looking at it and its age has only made it look dated as well as a disgusting pi it always was. its annoying because the racer looks so good with just small alterations. could have so easily been a worthy opponent to the F40 in the all time super car list, but its not even on my list.
Love the music tracks ! 💕🤣
MAN these were the days!...GT1 class with McLaren F1s, Ferrari F40s, Corvettes, Skylines, Supras, NSXs, Porsches, Jag XJ220s, Lister Storms...and other lesser know brands. What an incredible time.
Looks like it was built in the 80's?
Fantastic watch 👍👍👍
As the Producer of the Film I'm more than flattered by so many kind and informed comments. Even 25 years later it holds up very well against more recent ones. Thank you all Shaun M Redmayne
I was wondering why did Electronic Arts got involved with McLaren for this documentary? Was it to promote the McLaren F1 for an upcoming Need For Speed game?
Brilliant work Shaun. Be proud of it
Where was this originally published? Was it part of a game? Was it a VHS tape?
Awesome film!
I kind of wished they experimented with an AWD setup for this car, very rear-biased, of course. Like 75/25, maybe 70/30, just enough front wheel grip to pull it back in line when the ass end comes out.
The finest, best and most beautiful super car ever made. Just a pity it's not in 1080p.
Great car but LM win was pure luck. The regulation context, little competition (few more performant cars at start) and rain. And of course, they put 6 cars in contest. Even Ferrari F40 LM were faster but not as many.
28:38 the only footage of Kokusai Kaihatsu F1 GTR running in the wet night🌧️🏁
Thanks!
Why always the 90's documentaries about cars are still fresh and good?
So well done. Passion rules. I know of only one more person with this kind of drive: John Britten.
