Dude cant hit the notes. If he writes the songs i get why he eould ding it himself and get the fsme off of it. But he is by no way a great vocalists. I believe he knows this hearing how shaky his voice is. But produced and the final edit is why he has the fame he does now. He is talented no doubt, at songwriting and producing and hearing a good product. Thats why his albums are so good. But he is not a great singer. And thats ok. I like him as an artist and i do believe his music i hear on the radio is very good. But as a live singer in this atmosphere was not as good as the more talented singers put there.

When you perform solo it really shows your talent. When we saw you at Summerfest several years ago I was disappointed that the band behind you drowned out your voice. Up until then I had only watched your CZcams videos.

This is even better than the album version. Absolutley stunning in every way.

This song and booze helped me get through my divorce years ago. He’s right… drinking isn’t the answer to your problems, but sometimes it’s the only thing that’s working. My mother was so worried about my drinking at the time. But i remember literally telling her that “I know myself and i’ll eventually get over it, but it’s all that’s working right now.” And sure enough, once I got over the divorce, i quit drinking.
