These swords are not "Roman age" The medieval sword design is of norman design and has no relation to the Roman Gladius, which isn't even a roman design in itself. The Romans took the design of the gladius from Iberian barbarian clans. Please do your research before you start talking about swords.

Great video! I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers. Only things I would suggest would be to speed up your pace just slightly and when you show the pocket clip, show what it looks like INSIDE the pocket. Other than that, well done, sir!

Hadn't seen this blade before. Cool blade. Coldsteel makes good knives. But man they really have to do something about their cheap ass packaging. There are brands way cheaper with way nicer packaging. Some people would argue packaging doesn't matter. I don't agree with that. But hey that is my personal view. Cheers Mark.

Either knife is a great choice, but the Amicus has an advanced blade opener and superior steel compared to the Emissary! The Amicus has a fast spring assisted flipper, while the Emissary just has thumb studs. The CPM-S90V steel of the Amicus has better edge retention and corrosion resistance than the lesser CPM-S30V steel of the Emissary. Happy shopping!
chief johnson it depends what size blade you prefer. I've got several benchmades including the amicus and it's an amazing knife but it is to me somewhere in between edc and edc+. It's bigger than a mini grip but does carry well. If your wanting a medium/smaller edc I'd pick the emissary. If the little bit bigger size doesn't bother you amicus is the way to go.
Also Imo the blade shape and material are superior on the amicus
Where did you get the deep pocket carry clip for it? Everyone I've seen comes with the basic clip
Hey Bell Blades! The Benchmade site claims the knife comes with a standard clip (like the older models), but all of our new models include the deep pocket carry. I've read a few forums suggesting after market deep pocket clips for Benchmade products, but we don't carry them. Also, sweet customs! Keep at it.
