The Spartamet is a bicycle made by Sparta in The Netherlands. It's powered by a 30cc 2-stroke petrol engine producing around 0.7 horsepower. Mounted to the rear wheel, it converts it's power through a wet centrifugal clutch. First start after fixing some parts and rebuilding the carb. The idle is still set too high and the hand starter is a bit worn, but it fires up eventually.

Als ik Andre Pronk was zou ik postzegels gaan verzamelen of zo en niet meer dit soort nutteloze posts op youtube zetten. 😀Wat een frikandel zeg !
Hi I have 2 1998 Spartamets. One runs the other starts on choke but bogs out when accelerating and stalls. Any Ideas? I've tried 3 different carburettors. A Carburettor off the other Spartamet and a 3D printed air intake with a weed eater carburettor. Starts but does not run. Also took the reed valve plate off to check gasket. Done my best to stop any air leaks.Gas (petrol) flow runs fine. Going to try a China carburettor next. To save the pull start I use a socket and battery drill. The nut comes undone, just do it up again.
Did you thoroughly clean the carburettor before installing? Those things can get clogged real easily. I would also recommend not having too many air restrictions in the filter. I have a "turbo" CDI which makes it run faster and a very open filter, makes it run much better than the standard one.
Another recommendation is adding 10ml of FuelFit to your two-stroke mix. Stops the mix from getting lumpy and cleans the carb when running through the system.

Is het niet intrigerend dat iets wat onzichtbaar is, voor ons vaak als niet-bestaand wordt beschouwd? Voordat je deze tekst las, bestond ik in jouw beleving niet, net zoals vele aspecten in het universum. Iets bestaat pas als het wordt waargenomen, door jou of elk ander individu. Neem het voorbeeld van een buschauffeur: zodra je achter het stuur van een bus kruipt, omarm je de 'beingness' van een buschauffeur. Je identiteit en rol transformeren naar die van een bestuurder. Maar, als iemand je een uur later in de supermarkt ziet, zonder je chauffeursuniform, dan verschuif je naar de beingness van een mede-winkelaar en sta je op een gelijk 'level' ten aanzien van de mede-winkelaars. Zoals jij in je rol van chauffeur stapt, nemen passagiers op een vergelijkbare wijze de beingness van een passagier aan. Dit illustreert het principe van 'Be, do, have': we nemen een identiteit aan, bijvoorbeeld de rol van buschauffeur, daarna voeren we die rol uit en de have in dit geval is een salaris. Als je dit principe waarneemt van een afstand, ziet het leven eruit als een spel. En jij bent de hoofdrolspeler. Ik wens je veel succes met je carrière, je doet er zeker toe.

dan maar de saaiste auto maar wel heel betrouwbaar mijn corolla uit 1997 bijna 26 jaartjes oud en het rijdt nog en zie er ook nog mooi pure degelijkheid 👍👍🙂

We used to run a Toyota Hiace in the late 90s. They were rock solid. Other vans we had like Mercedes Vito and Fiat were always giving us trouble but the Hiace was as reliable as time. This Corolla is cut from the same cloth.
Great vans indeed! Had one as a company courtesy car once and was surprised at how comfortable and well handling it was. Unfortunately they are quite expensive to buy and run in The Netherlands otherwise I would have probably owned one.

I got a 98 with the 1.3 43-FE, it's a minter. I only paid £750 for it from the original owner, at the time it only at 48k miles.

@@WeirdTunes Aha ye, it was really the only thing I could afford at the time that had an MOT and all that, and other than it's worn suspension it's mint condition, I have windy windows and a cassette player, not even a tacho aha

@Davey I've driven about 70.000km in this Corolla so far and never have I had any issues with oil burning. Only thing that's ever really broken down was the alternator.
