There aren't any native English speaking teachers because Thai schools refuse to process non-Immigrant B visas for them. That means NES teachers keep rotating out every 30-90 days - all backpacker, transient 'teachers.' Instead, Thai schools hire Filipinos who work for peanuts and have horrible pronunciation, but they are excellent at ingratiating themselves with Thai school administrators.

Unbelievable...I never stayed under 1000 baht hotels .... must be 1200 up ... well I still can't stayed 8 or 15 usd...😂 ...but to be honest you opened my eyes .... some hotels are quite nice ....

Not Pattaya. This is Jomtien which is a pain.

Love the Asoke area and IconSiam... But I have only stayed in the Asoke. I'd like to see any monthly options you might bump into. I used Agoda and tried to average 600B after the cv19 opening. I hear Bangkok has tried doubling their rates. I'm in Pattaya, Jomtiem area and find there are reasonably priced monthlies without annual contract. Currently I have a 10k one block off the water with a great view.
