PASCH School in Harare: The Heritage School #goetheinstitut #southafrica
The Heritage School, Harare, has a vibrant and active German Language department - which is quite noteworthy as the school has only been a PASCH School since 2020, with German only being introduced to the curriculum then.
The uptake of the subject has grown over the years. This year 82% of learners in grade 8 have chosen “German” over “French” in their subject choice. This is a remarkable achievement.
A lively concert with dance, rap, songs and short speeches by the students was held in front of an audience of approx. 600 people to showcase their achievement. Amongst the audience were the school principal and staff, parents, and senior school students.
