So true, so many distractions in these secular times infact at holy mass on a Sunday little reverence of where we are,loud talking etc and noticeable when we receive body soul and divinity of our Lord. Feel silence and reverence needs addressing by our priests prior to our celebration of the Holy mass.

Here's a tip some may find helpful. If you find fasting really hard, ask Jesus to fast in you, give over your body to his fast.

Prayer needs to be more than lip service, we must be focused preferably in front of a crucifix with peace and quiet which is so difficult even within the sanctity of our churches especially on a Sundays ,so many distractions in this secular society but feel parishes should implement the importance from the pulpit of a necessary quietness "signs maybe on entrance to church "so we can focus on our relationship with our Lord jesus christ. ✝️✝️

Funny you have a video on this topic now. It popped up on my feed last night so I bookmarked it and listened to it on the way to work this morning. I lost my lucrative job, for which I went to college and grad school, three years ago and I’ve been staying with family working minimum wage while I try to figure out what’s going on and what to do. I think God has been telling me to wait and that He’s got plans for me, but three years does seem like a long time and I worry I’ve missed my opportunity. And of all things, after months of trying to get something scheduled, I’m beginning spiritual direction this very afternoon. Praise God. Thank you.

Absolutely gut wrenching😢. Thank you for reminding me that my own suffering shouldn't distract me from prayer and faith and trust in God's Plan. I need to get past grieving my son's death in 2021. But God was Merciful throughout. May you continue to feel God's Loving Embrace throughout your trials and especially that of your son's. George's suffering is Saving so many souls who would otherwise perish. Isn't that a comfort? George will be given a beautiful, whole body with all its Perfection in Paradise as his Reward. God's Blessings for you and your family. My lack of courage has been given a boost for the better listening to you. God Is Good ALL the time. May Blessed Mother of Salvation Wrap Her Holy Mantle of Protection over you all.
