Why does Paul Finebaum despise Dabo and Clemson so much? I know he pulls for the SEC and loves Alabama, but Dabo is a Alabama alum, a Gene Stallings deciple and a championship player for the Crimson Tide. Since there wasn't a head coaching opportunity at Bama, he took the one at Clemson when it opened up. It has taken him 10 years but he has made a little 'ole nothing football program into a powerhouse. ACC schools do not get near as much money for their football programs like SEC schools do. Yet, he's taken an ACC school to the level like many SEC programs. That is quite an accomplishment. To me, he doesn't deserve to be bashed on the national stage like Paul Finebaum always tends to do.

So Small Paul. Watch the 2020 recruiting class closely. It looks like it could be the best of all time. He currently has 6 hard commits from 5 star players. Alabama has 2 or 3. Also Clemson is in the lead for 2 more 5 star commits. That will be 8. Clemson has # 1 overall Bryan Bresee # 1 QB in DJ Uiagalelei. Clemson has locked in a ton of talent and are hitting heavy with 2021 recruits so Small Paul is definitely wrong about Clemson being hurt in recruitment of blue chip players. People said the same thing when he commented on the Kapernick thing. You can’t stop this. To the person in comments that says it’s all an act it isn’t. Dabo is real. The moms and dads fall in love with him. It is a real confidence and love that he has. Players have come here and maybe have Clemson on their list. Then they go to a game and meet Dabo and the other coaches and players. Once they experience the miracle that is Lil ole Clemson many of them make their decision right then so SORRY SMALL PAUL. As a lifelong Alabama fan this shows how Ignorant Paul is. Kelly Bryant receives a ring acknowledges he played the season. He has been rewarded an extra year to play college football. You can't have it both ways. Clemson needed Kelly the week he left and he was off the team. The team rallied and beat Syracuse witha 3rd string qb.

I gotta say...and I have no horse in this race...but Dabo seems like a circus act and fake as all get out. The withholding of the ring IS a big deal to recruits, and I think his act is starting to wear thin. Act like you have won a couple Nattys Dabo - don’t act like a child. Dude spends more time talking about damn statistics about the SEC after HIS games during the season than anything else. Come on...that’s bush league man, you have an SID for that. Quit spitting out stats after games and showing you’re up all night prepping for postgame stats to rattle off at disinterested reporters on the field. Makes him look REALLY weak. Just saying.

This guy has a serious problem. He is obsessed with Clemson to the point of ripping them for everything. Now he is saying that Clemson fans don't know how to act about their teams success. Has he LISTENED to the Bama fans that call into his show? There are college football fans and then there are the crazy Bama fans. Remember the guy that poisoned the Auburn tree? Finebaum cannot tolerate any team winning that is not spelled Alabama. He needs to go away until he can report about sports in an unbiased way.
