My father is son the Wyley Jack Barr and Evorie Margaret Burton Barr Gumm.Clara siblings were John Stratton Burton, then Clara, then Evorie, then Mary Hazel. Last but not least was Perry Henry Burton. I never met Aunt Clara but we still have lots of family in Texas.

I can relate... my father was a refugee from Chios Greece during WWII as well. I just posted a video sharing his story. He has compassion for the Syrian refugees, and he says they took good care of him and his family in Aleppo and later in Egypt too. I am watching this story now. Please Mrs. Irene, please see our version. I wonder if you know my father. He was born in 1933.
