These kids should not have known a quarter of this. Sometimes you cannot hide certain aspects of a divorce from children like if the father wanted nothing to do with the kids and had left for another woman and her family. that happens a lot. I've known moms and dads who have left their entire families behind for a new spouse and you just cannot hide that.
