“It belongs in a museum.” Fantastic 1968 Topps 3-D Roberto Clemente artwork by Michael Olson.
I had the opportunity to catch an episode of thecardlife featuring mikeolsonart last May. I was blown away by Mike’s art so contacted him on Instagram, mikeolsonart . Mike was able to fit in an art consignment for me. Definitely, the first of many to come if he has time. Mike’s website is mikeolsonart.square.site

With tomorrow being Independence Day, I thought it would be an acceptable time to discuss 2 WWII veteran that served our country & helped keep our independence. This video is a review of Joe D and Teddy Ballgame items in the collection. 1. Also tried something new as Universal Graded Population metrics for each card shown have been included (Gemrate). 2. Very cool!!! I know any Clemente collector would love to own that
Just found your channel. Subbed ya up. You showed up as a suggestion to watch. Love the coasters and the Clemente art. Looks fantastic. I also make content if you are interested! Mostly just baseball, but i might sprinkle in some other sports once in a blue moon. Enjoyed.
@@vintagecardssteve8582 thank you. Just did the same w/ your channel. 🤝
@@TJ_Is_Online Thank You! Looking forward to interacting with you!
This is really cool, Tony! Love seeing them side by side.
@@JunkWaxHero thank you. 👊
awesome job Tony, so well done. Great unboxing
@@vintageslabman thank you
Really nice cards, Tony. Enjoyed the video.
@@CraigsCards62 thank you !
Tony! Just wow! You have created my favorite unboxing video! Just wonderful. It was an absolute pleasure getting to work on this incredibly unique card! From the rounded corners, to the faux 3-d effect to the inscription on the back, this card challenged me in so many ways but I ultimately love the results and I’m happy you do too! Thank you so much for the opportunity! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thats sick bro
@@LouRokTV 👊. Thanks Lou. 🙏. We definitely gotta hang out more next time. I barely had a chance to talk with you at the national & CZcams event
Awesome artwork Tony!
@@stuke1976 thank you!🙏
What a fabulous piece of art Tony , congratulations !!
@@JoeWoodCollector-Doug - oh Doug. I haven’t forgot meeting you last Thursday. It was so great talking to you about everything. We could chat for hours without even uttering the word, “card”.
Those are sweet. I need to grab one
@@markhoyle2275 thank you Mark. I know you’re extremely busy. I do truly appreciate the time you take out of your day to watch my content.
Really impressive Tony! He did a beautiful job on the Clemente. Congratulations!
That’s cool

That's worth the trip to the mall, lol! Now, you need to tape over the grade! 😂

I’ve been missing out on this channel! Great collection! That contract is EPIC
@@LegendsNeverDieCollection you are too kind. Thank you so much.
Awesome video TJ!! 2 of the Best HOFer to play the game! In awe of your Ted & Joe collection. Imo Ted should have won the 1941 MVP, just saying, lol. Great job buddy! 🙌
@@anthonypasquale5968 If it was up to me, they would have been Co-MVPs. They both made history
Painful seeing you in that jersey. Great Short Round reference though!
😎 cool Happy Fourth of July 🇺🇸

Awesome cards,so glad the focus is on the cards.not the number on the slab Way to go!!!
Tony, your collection is outstanding!! Making me want to buy some cards.
Great stuff Tony. I need get some of those, mostly the RC in my collection.
Spectacular collection of Mantle cards!

Loved this. DiMaggio is on that 48 Sport Thrilld card as well
@@markhoyle2275 thank you Mark. I know it was a LONG watch. Just had so much to talk about w/ these two elite players.
You could’ve talked for another hour and I’d still watch
Thanks for sharing 👍
You picked a gray tune to go with that Showcase
Thank you Mark. Classic song that kinda applies w/ buiding this small yet difficult set. It was that or something about spending too much. 😬 First heard Foghat in 1993 (Dazed & Confused movie).
I’m a little older than you I had that on 8 track. Dazed and Confused has a great soundtrack
Great video, TJ. For me Frank Robinson, is the most under rated player in baseball vintage, but completely agree, Carlton card prices are low for a pitcher of his caliber.
Frank Robinson has def become underrated. I think so has Banks (can’t believe it) , Seaver, Killebrew, Berra, DiMaggio Aaron, & Williams (to an extent), Robin Roberts, & others. However, I think Carlton is getting zero respect between recent annual Baseball Card Hall of Fame final votes & social media discussions. While an odd guy, he finished his career 2nd in Ks, was the all-time leader in Ks for a short time, 2nd most wins by like a Lefty (retired w/ 9 most wins), 1st to win 4 CYAs, he was voted on 95.82% of HOF ballots (At the time of Lefty's Induction, only Tom Seaver, Ty Cobb, Hank Aaron, and Johnny Bench had their names written on more ballots). Last pitcher to throw 300 IP.
Great vid! PSA 5 on a 77 VWL Sticker is crazy good
🤜🤛. Thank you. 🇻🇪
Cool stuff, and a wide-ranging look at different sets through the years also!! Well-done!
Thanks Tony. 🤜🤛. If you do make CZcams videos , it will be a gift for us. You’re extremely knowledgeable, funny, & down to earth.
What a Spectacular Mantle run! I'm in awe! Great job with the video! 🙌
Thank you
Wow/ what a great Carlton run. He was one I collected when I was a kid. Your collection is really terrific.
Thank you for the kind comment Mark. 🤝 & watching the video.
Wow Tommy !! Nice collection of Carlton's. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks Doug. I should’ve threw a Smoky Joe Wood in there as an Easter Egg. lol.
Leftyyy!! 💪 Incredible collection TJ!🔥 The variety is top-notch! You've opened my eyes and sparked my interest in Opeechee 😉. Thanks for sharing your SC collection, I've enjoyed it buddy! 🙌
Thank you for the great comment. Really appreciate you watching the video.
Awesome showcase TJ! I remember going to Carlton’s retirement night! Lots of great cards! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you
Enjoyed the video! 1 program is good, 4 is better. Very underrated player, the 1970's was between Carlton and Seaver, IMO. Cool to see all those OPC's.
100% agree about Seaver & Carlton ruling during their overlapping season. Thank you for the comment and watching the video.
Good picks. Would include Jim Palmer and Juan Marichal, too.
@@ACD1994 100%
This was great TJ. Love the OPC & Tiffany
Thank you Mark. 🤝
Great collection of the one that got away. Cards could have done some major damage with him but it was not to be.
This is the “one trade” the Phillies really made out on. The other trades were brutal. Traded away Ryan Sandberg, Julio Franco, Fergie Jenkins, left George Bell unprotected, Curt Schilling, & Grover Cleveland Alexander 🤦
Awesome Carlton cards and stuff. Congrats on your nice collection. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Orlando !
Just subscribed. Terrific Mantle run and kinda fun to have the grades covered. Thanks for sharing the back story of your collecting too.
New to the channel. great card showcase. thumbs up! thanks for sharing. love this collection
Thank you 🍻
Wow! This is an amazing collection of the great Mickey Mantle!! Wow! You have some sweet cards man!!!! Wow! 51 Bowma and 53 Topps too!! Wow!! I just picked up a 63 leaders card for my first playing days card of him! Congratulations man! I think I like the 65 Topps for my favorite!
Thank you for the nice comment. I also really like the 1965 card. The ‘65 Topps Steve Carlton is one of my all-time favorite cards. Such a solid design with pennant front. 1963 are also cool. Some great cards in that set. Tough to find in nice condition. Have you thought about some of the odd ball Mantles like the ‘64 Topps Giant? I forgot to show that but it’s a really nice affordable playing days Mantle card.
@@TJ_Is_Online I have not thought of that, but maybe I could look into that.
Love the collection,I have the same, also like the fact you covered the grades, its about the cards not the slab or grade, thanks for sharing.
@@jamesgillem1294 I get asked friendly why cover the grades. 90% of the time I do because I think as you stated, the focus should be on the cards & their stories. On my latest video about Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio, I tried something new by putting the Universal pop counts over the grades. Let me know your thoughts about that
68's & Dog food one' I like. No Post?
Thanks. Never got into Post or Jell-O cards for my player focuses. Only so much money to go around but those are very cool. Would love to add the Dan-Dee & Berk Ross.
Great collection!+- Always nice to know I can find TJ Online.
Thanks Mike. Can I borrow your ‘52 Topps Mantle? lol. I do wanna change my username to “TheHeatIsOnline”
Excellent collection! I’ve always liked the ‘53 Bowman Color. My mother loved Mickey and now and then in the sixties we would travel from SW Indiana to Oklahoma and spend the night at the Mickey Mantle Holiday Inn in Joplin Mo. She kept some postcards from the hotel as well as a receipt for one night. I’m glad you popped up on my feed today. Also, nice looking Perez-Steele’s in the background.
Thank you for the kind words. I agree about the 1953 Bowman Mantle. Not a bad Bowman Mick card in the batch. Wonderful stories. I seen pictures of various items from the Holiday Inn . Pretty cool
