The Baofeng uv5r cable is often compatible with different models of walkie-talkies, and it's possible that it will work with the KSUN M6 Mini too. After installing the cable drivers, a new COM port should appear in your system; you can see its number in the device manager. In the radio programming software, you need to select this exact COM port. Check the settings and try again

@@GastonG-tu4lu Had the same problem. In case your radio displayed channel like "CH001" and not like "CH-01" you are lucky and got upgraded version. It requires different software from KSUN to communicate with PC. Ask your supplier for it. Is a bonus you will get 200 memory channels inside, the ability to assign names to memory channels and so on.

Therefore, the brand's origin doesn't always reflect the manufacturing location. The quality of products from different brands may vary, but the country of assembly is not an inherent indicator of poor quality

I understand your concerns, yet I'd like to clarify that a traditional 5-watt radio is designed for analog communication and has a limited range of signal transmission, which depends on various factors, including the terrain and the presence of obstacles. Typically, even under ideal conditions, the signal cannot propagate more than several tens of kilometers, let alone be sufficient to 'reach' other countries, including China. Moreover, analog radios are not connected to the internet and, therefore, cannot be compromised through digital communication channels. This rules out the possibility of remote eavesdropping or accessing the device through 'backdoors'. Thus, we can confidently say that the use of analog radios does not pose a risk to the confidentiality of your communications on a technical level.

Yeah, the chinese can here you all the way from china when you operate this 5 watt radio. Are you drunk, or what? You can program this radio with your own firmware MOD and if you want you can even play the game Pong on it. I never had a better radio. You can install the Egzumer firmware mod, the CEC firmware mod, or the IJV firmware mod on this radio. these are some of the best mod's available on the internet. And with some of these mod's you can extend the freqency range from 18Mhz to 1300 Mhz, and listen on USB, Transmit CW, transmit APRS and WSPR.
