Just ran across this video last night. I have an 03 6.0 with a new engine from DFC and it runs amazing Change out most of the sensors with OEM sensors...only EBP and VGT are still the originals). Has about 3K on the new engine. Just last week I noticed a surge while at idle. It's not all the time but it seems to be happening a little more every time I use the truck. I did the checks as mentioned in the video with my Edge Insight monitor and it reads MAP at 15psi, BARO at 15psi and EBP at 0psi (I'm here in Mississippi so close to sea level). So guessing it's time for a new EBP sensor?

Man just don't know where to turn and what to add to make reliable daily and p/t towing 12k rig..too many options and everyone has a different opinion..only ones I've seen is your parts and kc tow package are almost identical..How can I justify putting $8k into something that still running fine..change my mind..I guess I want reliability when I'm 2000 miles from home..What's your email I need to pick your brain

I have an 04 6.0 and i don't hear the turbo whistle , on my 05 i hear it good . Is there a difference?. I also have turbo lag seems like after it get up to operating temperature when cold it doesn't it also blows black smoke, i just bought the truck so no history on it. Thanks

Have a question been looking at your fleece cheetah turbo my trucks a 06 currently stock with egr delete not studded but still running like a dream. My plan is to eventually drop in 205/30 with air dog 165 w a sump but with that being said the fleece cheetah looks like a option because it’s a drop in turbo with stock injectors. Should I go that route since I’m wanting to make atleast 600 hp In the future so I’m not changing up turbos

It needs a little more bend to it where it goes across the top of the radiator.

When i did my engine rebuild bought new cts3 2 egt probes for each cylinder bank.... Easy to tell if a sides got weak injectors. Its piece of mind knowing whats going on with the other half of your Engine.

The SCT actually has an EBP sensor on the gauge and it diagnoses a bad sensor when the ebp reading on the SCT X4 a constant number. Whenever it’s fluctuating, that means the ebp is good.

Will the upgraded HPOP help with the truck to start quicker? I know Ford spec for the 6.0 is 5 seconds, but I’m looking for a quick bump start on my 6.0 if possible.

Does truck need retuned or simply bolt on and go

I have a c t s x4. I used to run the street tune. And It had no delay from a takeoff. The programmer got locked out. Was able to get it unlocked after a lot of updates. Now there's a couple second delay from a takeoff. After that it has great power. What do you suggest to correct? The couple second delay in the takeoff now. Would a custom tune address that?

Im trying to decide if i should get this for my 05 with a new x4, or shoukd i go hp device?. I see on your site the sotf, does that incluse all the other tunes, or do i have to select 1-4 tunes and then the sotf somehow? Also do you do a loaner program to install a ficm tune if i dont have an hp device? Or would my only option be, short of buying, to send my unit in?

Be hard to go that far and not get a set of ported heads from KDD, guess it all depends on where you draw the line though. Still a very nice build.

I live in Hot Springs, SD- not too far from you. I have a 2001 F250 Superduty with the 7.3 Powerstroke. It has 325k miles on it. I've been using Rotella T4, but as I learn more I realize that I could do much better. I haul water and the occasional heavy load, but usually only put about 5k miles on my rig in a year. Which oil would you recommend for my truck? Thank you!

You seem very knowledgeable in ford power strokes I would be excited if you could help me figure out my 6.0s issue I have an 04 iv had it for close to a year and have had 0 issue other then it struggling to start on a cold start , solved the issue with just plugging it in. Recently I had an issue where at low speed the truck would act like it's missing and hesitate but as soon as it got over 30kms it smoothed out. I drove it for an hour and it started again but at 80kms I pulled over turned it off and back on and normal again. There is no black smoke and no white smoke I changed filters I checked oil and it's fine I checked fuses for anything with fuel and they are good. Only thing that's modified is it has a cold air intake and the exhaust was cut off so it's straight piped
