    Sir how can i control rh and temp by using plc ??

    • @TechnicalChallenger
      @TechnicalChallenger Před 9 dny

      @@Deenibayanoriginal To control temperature and humidity by using a PLC you need to have a software downloaded on to the PLC and the PLC should have analog imputs and outputs . If your AHU have a heating ,cooling heat exchanger and humififier controlled by valves driven by actuators and your heat exchangers are using lycol or water then the PLC will control the T and RH by instructing the heat exchanger actuators to alow the heat exchangers to heat and cool acordingly to the setpoints . If you are using DX coil then you ca have as well capacity control etc . The humidity control is done by tne PLC only if the AHU is equipt with proper heat exchangers and actuators or other form of capacity control valves . You can act directly on compressors or gas boilers to control the heating cooling and RH considering that you also have a humidifier fitted in to your system .There are many ways to build a RH % control . Please watch my other videos about the RH% control .

    Hi Can you explain how circulating pump influence pressurisation unit operation? In your pressure gauge at return line near circulation pump you see pressure reading above 2 bar but your PRV is set at 2 bar Wouldn’t pressurisation unit start kicking in and adjust that pressure?

    • @TechnicalChallenger
      @TechnicalChallenger Před 2 měsíci

      When pump start the return pressure is lower that the flow pressure . The presurizatiin unit follows the return pressure .When the pump is not running the only pressure difference is in between the lower and any higher point where the pressure is taken . When the pump is running the heating agent is on dynamic state . The presurisatiin unit is monitoring the retun pressure .

    • @TechnicalChallenger
      @TechnicalChallenger Před 2 měsíci

      Also the presurissatiin unit show 1.5 bars and the return PRV is set at 2 bars . The flow PRV is set at 3 bars .

    Hello my friend, I have a similar heat pump dryer like yours. Mine has the error that it thinks that the water reservoir is full (however this is not the case). I know that it ''thinks'' that the reservoir is full because a sensor down below measures that the container is overfilling. From previous experience i know that most of the time the sensor is dirty so it thinks that the reservoir is full without it being full. Do you know if there is a water level sensor somewhere below? I already cleaned the pump and tested it and the waterpump is working fine!

    • @TechnicalChallenger
      @TechnicalChallenger Před 11 měsíci

      They are before and abive the pump . Pump can not have flow in both sides The pump is pushing the liquid and the liquid is returning to the pump . So you have flow and return .

    • @TechnicalChallenger
      @TechnicalChallenger Před 11 měsíci

      On a close circuit you have only ine pipe technicaly speaking and the pressure DP is governed by the Pump and flow restriction only when pump is running and the fluid is on dinamic state . When in static state the DP is also giverned by tue building hight but that is apolying inly in vertical pipes . Every 10m you gain aprox one Bar .

Does expansion tank also kicks in through gravity and return the expanded water to the system? Or just wait the pressure to 0.5 Bar to make the pump compensate the pressure loss?

PLC or BMS that I personally encounter in my career are Siemens ,Mitsubishi ,Yokogawa ,Trend ,Priva Controller , RDM with submultiple PLCs, Omron , Alan Bradley etc. I just finish level 4 Tia Portal which is Siemens Trainning course . If you remove the heat pump cover make sure you will put it back properly . Pay attention to the capillary tube that link the condenser from the evaporator . Also clean the condensate water pump . The internal filter need to be cleaned too. The wires need to be fixed back on their locker .The spinning cylinder will cut them or will rub the insulation and make a short circuit . Inside near the opening door on the lower side there are two parallel metals blades that are sensing the humidity of the clothing.Clean them too . The two parallel blades are short-circuited by the clothing moisture and as long as the PCB will receive the signal back trough the short circuited blades the drier will continue its cycle . Good luck .

      I have acquired a Grundig (Beko/Arcoelectric based) heat pump dryer. I was told “it doesn’t heat” so I intend to do a full strip down and decontamination of all the parts and see what happens. I also plan to check compressor start/run relay and overload (assuming it is an AC compressor like in a standard fridge). I will report back what happens. Thanks again for taking the time to post your thoughts.

    • @TechnicalChallenger
      @TechnicalChallenger Před rokem

      If you intend to strip it I suggest to check first the dryer running protocol . First try to see if the heat pumping cycle stars . To do that you have to throw a wheat towel or something so the two metal blades that are near the door panel on the frame will be touched by the wheat cloth . The resistive short circuit sent to the PCB will initiate the heat pumping cycle . If you will wait and you will here the compressor buzzing just wait for about 5 minute .The back plate on to the back of the drier where the hot and dryer air moves from the heat pump in to the tumble dryer’s cylinder must get hot . If that is getting hot then you must clean the filters to allow the air to circulate free trough the installation . If that back cover remain cold and you can here the compressor running then the system could lose the refrigerant . Refrigerant can be 134a R600 or you will find the type on the Drier Label. If the heat exchanger is aluminium i can show you how to solder it safely not to melt the pipes . If the compressor does not start then check the Capacitor and the starting relay and the compressor,s SCR. Then have a direct try from a 230VAC power source .I mean a cable connected direct to L N E and see for 10 seconds if the compressor is running . Good look .

      Yes you are very right . Thank you for that observation . I made this video explaining only the issues that could be generated by the inappropriate settings . Technically speaking you are perfect right . To segregate the system you need valves . Make sense . What can I say . I am privileged to met people with eagle eyes like you . Al my respect.

    Thank you, sir! A very helpful video. Just by watching the video, I can tell the amount of experiennce this takes. Are there any videos where you are doing design? I mean the calculations and sizing? I'd be happy to watch!

      There i a book about calculations and designs . That is the easy part . The concept is the hardest .I can gave to you some guidance .

      @@hvacdesignsolutions Dear Sir HVAC designer ? Heating ventilation and Air conditioning designer ? I respect your opinion about me . I just try to help as much as I can . I am working in control philosophy but I can help you with the design .the problem os that I do everything for free in my own time and the calculation is irrelevant at this point . Once you will know what you want then I can involve some formulas to help . Gas ,water ,air ,heat load ,air change rates or differential pressure cascade are subject to a complex approach . So could you please tell me how can I help you ? We do not have to be stingy .We can support each other to navigate trough this life .to make it better . 😀

    Does a pressure vessel on the chilled water side work the same as on the hot side +

    • @TechnicalChallenger

      Good question .Thank you . Because a chiller is usually a cooling system the pressurisation unit will work with an inverted value. When the chiller is off the water is worm and the water pressure in to the system is related directly to the water temperature . You must fill the water circuit on chiller with a maximum pressure allowed by the system . Make sure that you are below the PRV set point . The pressure on the chillers water circuit will drop when the chiller will cool the water . We all know that the water shrink until is freezing .When it is freezing the the water volume is increased again but this is just a basic side explanation . The pressurisation should be set to support the water pressure drop when the water is cooling down . The pressure vessel should be carefully chosen to provide the appropriate elasticity for the system . Technically YES The pressurisation work the same but the pressure in to the system will work in opposite to a boiler system as the water is losing the heat when chiller is working so it is obvious that it will loose the pressure . If the system elasticity is not well calculated the pressurisation will compensate the low pressure when chiller is running and the PRV will eliminate the water when the chiller will rest in night time . If the chiller runs continuously and the variation of temperature is zero then the pressure variation will be zero and the pressure vessel will be good only when the chiller will be turned off . Hope that helps . With respect . Mihai John
