That annual time where I help the three wheeler a little bit, and see how screwed up it is. Also Coleman bike with exhaust and intake running poorly, probably because we couldn't remove the old jet.

First start of the year for the ol chev. Dad bought this truck in high school in 1980, Had it painted red and silver and used it to transport livestock along with many other things. Still one of the most loyal trucks and drives better than a new one.

You dont see them much these days my aunts husband used to have one of them diesel 4x4 shortbed
Do u have the link for the sprocket
Great little trucks. Isuzu knows how to make diesel engines.
Now I want one of these little trucks.
Chevrolet Isuzu Luv Startup Diesel Straight Pipe Custom Limited Edition
I have a pacesetter 3,put a bunch of work into it,it's quite a bit of fun.Geting parts is almost impossible. Not many of these left, good video.
Yeah I was late to a couple that went for 50 dollars at an auction and beat myself up about it, the one had brand new tires 😭
very cool. I sub'd
it would steer if he rode it properly, you have to lean to the inside and lift that outter wheel off the ground a little bit on the solid axle trikes, thats all. Pretty cool old pacesetter though. I'm into the manco 3 wheelers which are basically built the same way as yours. I have one I'm workin on with a hopped up briggs vanguard on it, inverted fork/billet triple tree/hyd disc frt end on it. little hot rod. Cool vid man, like to see the old American trikes kept alive. You should take it to trikefest one of these years. On these small engine toys, nyloc nuts and blu loctite are your best friends. Every fastener should have one or both. Love to see some more trike stuff.
No, both tires were flat and the one hub is bent that's what it wasn't steering as good 😂
Heck yeah buddy!!! Now this is the content I want to see.
The first man took it slow and easy.
Nice looking old truck.
That rear bumper is nice, I like the steps at the corners, nice Chevy.
niiiiiiiiiice. It sounds great!
Too funny what the man did to the little friend past the 4:30 mark. If it was me I would put a thick soft vinyl seat on it and do it to myself.
Thanks for the suggestion
I bought a brand new 1984 GMC 6.2 K2500. 300,000 miles later, it’s our livestock water truck. Rust free Wyoming truck.
It still looks good and it's still reliable.
Wheres the squarebody?? And yes more truck videos!
Make that good ole Ford work
better save this the values are only going up
That's the plan, my dad bought it in 1980 senior year of highschool, it doesn't have any rust and drives as good as a new truck 👌
When the camera went inside I could small what all those cabs smell like. Good memories.
The pickup looks better the way it is without a lift. A lift will just ruin a great pickup.
OK grandpa 😂
I just wanna lift the front end to match the rear and put some nice looking 35s on it
People like this are a part of why these trucks are so expensive now to many people abusing and wrecking them for the sole reason of just getting a kick out of doing it.
Good thing there are a ton of them
The more you beat on the 6.2s the more reliable they are 😂
Sounds like I need to drive mine down there sometime, you know just a fair comparison.
I didn't see the dollar bill with boner on it.
goofiness. That's a crazy patch job at 10:15.
Another good thing about these old GMC/Chevrolet pick ups is the space you have under the hood to be able to work on your truck
Yeah, it can be a pain leaning over the sides though, but there's not bullshit everywhere like a new car it's just the motor and essentials
How about just the ability to work on it, period. I mean carbs can be a PITA but overall it is some pretty simple shit. Digital will be the death of us at some point…
can i purchase those mud flaps from you?
No
This was my first truck, same year same colour same everything, sold it to some guy in Saskatchewan when I was 10. This has made me want to go locate it
They're great trucks, im glad my dad didn't sell this one
The Big 10 is Chevy's version of the Ford F-150. When the F-150 was first built in 1975, it was an optional heavy duty half ton pickup just like the Chevy Big 10 pickup at the time because the base F-100 pickups were still in production up through 1983.
Hell yeah i love that truck and me and that truck is the same age i was born in 79 to lol
where did you get the bully bar?!
Speedway motors in 1980 😂
The first digit on the odometer must be a 7. Still sounds rowdy as ever
Nice truck
It sounds just like my 85 k20
Oh hell yeah please make a ton more if these.
Would love to see a bit more clearly what you do with the gas pedal to get your carbureted rigs started too
What a cool video. Please make more cold starts like this
I’m buying a 94 s10 with the 2.2 , it’s not running so the question is how hard is it to work on/ how hard is it to get parts etc if it needs major work?? Plz link a site with a rebuild kit or any parts etc thanks!
The S10 only had a 2.2l gas and a 4.3v6 gas as far as I know which should have plenty of available parts.
I have an abandoned '61 imperial rotting in my woods 😢
The engine is great, keep the timing belt fresh (80,000 begin to worry). Main issue was rust on the frame right behind the cab, nearly unfixable
You're wrong about the hubcaps - haha. Good find tho, man.
Was awesome doing a collab 🙏
Sweet ride! Makes me want to get mine going! That car is in stellar shape!!!!
Good old bullnose Ford diesel trucks. Sturdy engines with zero emissions equipment to choke it up, and no turbo to fail. One can turn the injector pump a notch for more power. Glow plugs a main need, and replace with Motorcraft ONLY. Worthwhile replacing the delay circuit to prevent glow plugs burning up, too. Axles stout, transmission and cooling as well. Tires one can run 10-ply 265/75R16 easily enough. Bodies rust, but mostly due to bad factory finish those body years, so worthy of repair, painting and Line-X coating. Seats interchangeable with Super Duty seats from 1999+ I've been told. Otherwise just keep fluids changed, filters too, add diesel additive too, as most is low sulfur at the pumps.
That was what got me into 3 wheelers... ended up trading it to a friend. His dad used it around his property until the throttle hung and drug him through the pucker brush.
Yeah I think the 6.2 we have laying around will run just fine daily.
What a beautiful old gal! I got an 84' myself. 460 gas
Good pickup diesel very nice
Muy buena pick up Chevrolet o Isuzu de lo mejor iam jelously for that jajaja good video ❤i miss my Own 😢 Chevrolet
✌️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
