(-: The easy answer: "I have been drawing for many years..." Truth is, for a Grade 12 learner, the maximum time allocated in an exam for a two point, isometric or solid geometry drawing is 40minutes. Only a Civil Drawing and Mechanical Assembly affords you with between 80-90minutes. For you to speed up your drawing time it is essential to work on your speed by: 1.) Re-drawing a drawing 2-3 times. That way you learn your hands to work quicker, but also grow in confidence when drawing. 2.) Uncertainty steal time, therefore, make sure you know the steps for each drawing. All the best!

Marleray, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY TAKE EGD!! My two top students last year were both female students and they absolutely smacked EGD! One is now pursuing her studies as an architect and the other as a 3d animation artist! The possibilities for studies and employment are endless and if it is a subject you love, don't allow anybody else to discourage you!! Follow your dreams and draw with confidence!!
