Yes there is a way woth having both. However I recommend 2 separate SD cards. This is because when something goes wrong the only solution is to format and sd card and start over. So if by accident cfw or linux messes up you have to start over and lose everything from either side. However it is possible to have both . You can use hekate tools to make separate partitions. You would have to do linux first then cfw

@@eradicatinglove hmm that is funky then. everything is brand new and most up to date ( i just installed the modchip and did everything in the past couple weeks) But I did have some issues with the game installer and certificates. The switch . hacks guide steers clear of piracy so they dont talk about game installers and loading atmosphere with fusee.bin or how sig patches work so i had to figure that out on my own. maybe i missed something. i am usig Awoo to install

@neverthere5689 if you haven't tried this , but I have a cfw pack that I make for the community. Already has atmosphere and hekate. Also has the patches. Maybe if you want to try it could possibly help .

Did you have tesla before? If yes you probably have a different button combo. You can try and check config In the root sd card. In there should be a tesla file if you open it it might show your button combo

Just a little more power would be nice . Maybe the switch 2 . But yea Definitely quazy the potential.

Did you dump the joycons data from hekate? And did you do a first reboot in android

@@eradicatinglove yes I did. The joycons are detected in android but not in the games

@noelsandlie9161 which game is it? I'm not sure I've never had to map my games. Did you go into setting ans changed the layout to Xbox? Sometimes that messes up my joycons

If you have a mod chipped switch it could be you need to update the mod chip . Otherwise it's probably a bad partition. You if you have made multiple partitions this can happen and have to start over . Remove partitions and try again . Last maybe the SD card is no good or not a good brand

Jammy is the best in my opinion. Better for gaming. Actually jammy and fedora are best for gaming. I prefer jammy because it comes with a swap file and none of the others do. You need swap for pc emulation. Bionic will only be able to do some emulation. Jammy can do it all . That's all . Depends on the emulation. I love Bionic but it's crazy complicated to make things work. Jammy has more features and so does noble and fedora. It's also because Bionic uses and older style ubunt 18.1 and the others are more up-to-date. Using 22.04 so there's more support . I recommend jammy if you want tondo all emulation including pc gaming . Otherwise I'd say noble since it's newer and will have longer support after many years.

Check if your adapter is locked. Also check properties of sd card. Maybe restart computer.

Wow sounds like a mess. Well are you using a keyboard? Or using joycons? Sounds like you might have to format start over . Yea those updates are important. If they aren't done first things break easy . When this happens unfortunately I removed the partition and format back to normal ( no partitions) then redo everything it's a long process but it's as good as I know. If your using the joycons pressing the screen capture stops the mouse keyboard function. I can't really see why you can't type password.

@@eradicatinglove i am using mouse n keyboard at first i wanted to use joycons because i was super lost on how to even get the mouse and keyboard to work on my switch until i realized midway through your tutorial that i have to connect both usbs to my dock to make it work lol. anyway i can update the console easily like i just followed your step around your video where you did the update to restart the console and it worked out great it updated everything for that error.. i dont know why it does this... oh man o n o"... okay well.. i mean if it can still update from the manually like. me getting the notification on it needing updates to me going to the software app for updates would that be fine too? and to doing the "sugo apt upgrade"... i dont know if itll let me tho since its password asked too.. however i am thinking of removing the password to fix the issue since its my switch no one touches it at my home. that way it can save me from restarting 😭😭but i understand the process you did trust me i had to do the restart button before on a long process on homebrew once it was tiring but worth it. yeah neither can i o-o and i didnt know screen capture messes with joycons hmm.

@PowerpuffSpiceGirl yea doing the updates using the update app works as well . Removing the password is awesome too . I was under the impression you can't bypass the password . I don't no if you can remove it . I don't see why not never tried. But eventually having to install the citra app you may need password using megascript or terminal. Anyway hope you can get it going with out restarting . Good luck let me know

@@eradicatinglove okay cool, and oh. yeah.. kind of figured, and oddly enough the citra emulator did show up in L4T Megascript for me o. o downloaded it easily but there's an issue e-e.. i have no idea how to get artic base the app on the 3ds to stream on switch citra emulator without audio lag and lag from the opening to moving the cursor in game.. the lag is painful but it does in fact work it can be done i just dont know the proper set up.

Well yes and no . Dock mode can be more powerful because you have the plug . Using more power drains the battery faster . That's pretty much it. You can use the same power in hand held but you get way less battery life.

I don't have a tesla menu link that's direct. I add tesla menu in my cfw pack . You can download that . In the description there's a link to my cfw pack . You can also use the ultra hand link . That's a different version of tesla menu.
