I can’t belive that this cost 1700 ( basically it’s at most 500€ watch)no matter if it’s titanium,now consider how disturbingly close this price is to King of all pure diving watches Seiko MM 300 which preowned cost between 2100€ while new costs 3400€.

I want a Casio Oceanus S100, Titanium with that polishing, atomic time, sapphire crystal, and a bit of a retro look. My collection is nearly at 20 watches, mostly Casio, Citizen, and Chinese Microbrands. Wear an Addiesdive Submariner a lot as a beater and I’m really impressed for the price. I feel the S100 will be my everyday piece and really finishes off my collection. Even when I get a Rolex Submariner I imagine I’ll wear Casio’s far more frequently.

I'm a white dial guy too but I've had my eye on the new, to be released "Hamilton Watch Khaki Field King Auto; H64455533" with a black dial. To be safe though I'd like to buy the "H64455523" white dial but with the day/date at the 12 O'clock but it also has a "protected/shielded" crown. Not sure what it's called w/lugs around the crown. I like the watches and breakdown in this video.

I ordered a rose gold aliexpress metal mod that looks great but it does not say "G-SHOCK" and "PROTECTION" on the face which is disappointing. I thought it would be on there just not in the pictures for copyright reasons.

Glycine is better value for money

Most of the metal G-Shocks should have mineral glass. "Scratch but don't shatter" is the entire G-Shock philosophy.

The 3459 module is killer. I have the Full Metal Square on a SS bracelet, and love it. I have not owned a negative display I can tolerate. For now, yhe full metal has scratched my itch!

Warning tough review*** Graphically speaking in my humble opinion (I work in a design profession): The hour indicies (I'm calling them icicles) are pointing to the middle of the dial. There's nothing at the middle point of the dial. The mix of circles and 12, 3, 6, 9 icicles are in reverse. The greater visual should be at 12, 3, 6, 9. The hour and minute hands have no great pointing visual movement to the dial hour indicies. The second hand sweep counter balance looks like a Jack-in-the Box head. Not sure why this design is striking a dissonant chord with me but it is.

I've owned this for some years now and it's the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. I think part of the reason for this is the DLC coating--it's very low friction and so the watch and bracelet feel almost as if they're floating on the skin. This watch has been through quite a bit and still does not have the slightest scratch on it.

Never had problems with either combi. I see you also got a GW-M5610MD-9JF. Nice.

Hello! Do you know if the material of this watch: Timascus is as fragile to scratches as normal titanium or more resistant? Mokume Gane? Can you tell me about scratch resistance?

I finally pull the trigger on it and wow I can't take it from my wrist!!! The finish is unique, no other black metal square has this matte finish. The way the black color kind of looks different under different light is very cool. Freaking love this piece. ❤

Id rather have that lume than the over top nonsense everyone else does. It may not be a torch but it lasts,and lasts,and lasts.....i nver EVER have any difficulty reading my T200 in the night.

but those kits are not actual titanium, its steel, right? I checked few listings, and it lists them as steel. I have Unreal Armour kits, which says Titaniuim on it, but it also steel - Ive checked with magnet.

Wow, I agree with almost everything you said here. I like everything about that Laco except, like you said, the lume should be blue. Also one thing you didn't really talk about. I don't think this is really "Made in Germany" like when we think about made in America. This watch was assembled in Germany with a Swiss made movement. And the watch has now gone up in price. Over $1800 US. Fun fact, you can no longer choose USA or America on the website to get it in US dollars. You have to choose the British flag for English and then convert euros to dollars... Anyway, for my $1800 there are many assembled in the US with a Swiss movement watches that I like as well or better. :)

I'm also with you about the "value" of things. Whether one dollar or $3000 it has to make sense, TO ME. Or in your case, to you. I love this watch more than I paid for it, so the value is there, for me. Also for me, buying any drink at a restaurant other than water is CRAZY!! Nearly $3 for iced tea or a soda or $5-6 or more for a beer? No, I'll take water please. But that's me. My wife buys the most expensive mango-whatever tea they have. And I let her. I now own the watch in this video. That exact LE Ultralight #79 (sorry i have your birth year, I was born in '73). I absolutely love this watch. I bought it second hand from the guy that rebought the watch after you returned it. Now it's on a navy and red nylon strap and it gets loved and worn ALOT! I also have a rare dark red dial Weiss American Issue and I love it too. I agree with you about Whitney being awesome. Thew whole company (which is just a few people) is amazing. Highly recommended!

The brushed metal bezel on the NS version is the single best metal bezel out of any G-shock watch. It’s metal and looks beautiful, but it isn’t super glossy and reflective so doesn’t really show finger prints and dents/scratches. The biggest dealbreaker for me, and the reason why I returned it, is because it doesn’t allow you to set/reset the seconds when manually setting the time. It will just keep counting the seconds regardless of you manually changing the time, which means that it’s literally impossible to sync it up precisely with other watches. Bluetooth capability is great, but it should never ever mean that functionality on the watch itself is reduced. Got a DW-H5600 instead, which I’m very happy with even if it’s not as pretty looking and the buttons are much worse.

have a GMW-B5000RD-4, beautiful burgundy color. I like the blue GMW-B5000G, but it doesn't come with a blue metal bracelet. Why? That doesn't make sense. I do like the Tokyo Twighlight, GMW-B5000PB-6, very hard to find though, one I'd like to get is the GMW-B5000GD-4. I have GW-5000-U-JF-1 on the way, this will be my everyday wearer.

The new omega smpc bracelet has an excellent on the fly micro adjustment. You have to open the bracelet to push the adjustment but it’s super easy to do and doesn’t require taking off the watch. I do it all the time, even at a restaurant I can adjust the band discreetly without anyone noticing. I would never use a bracelet without this feature
