Hogan is not pulling the club back on his backswing, he is pushing the club back across his chest with the action of his left knee, left hand and left arm. You picked a great video of hogan to see what he is doing.

My first golf audiobook and wasnt sure if it would translate to the course. First round today and I felt the difference. I was calm and relaxed, in the moment, and I stayed optimistic. I used the word "execute" as my swing thought when striking the ball, to keep the mind steady and clear. Pre-swing I would think "ready to execute? ready to execute?" as I adjusted my stance, ball position, aim etc. Then when ready, I would think "execute" to initiate the swing. Worked great.

Comment just for algo. Challenge for more people to do the same. This needs to be presented to more golfers.

I can't tell you how valuable this content is. I play a ton of tournaments. It's astounding to me how there can be a five stroke difference (or more) in my game from day to day depending on who I'm playing with. I recognize that as the mental aspect, being comfortable and looking forward to every shot as an individual challenge is key.

Bobby Jones has a classic swing. Mist advice or "tips" today are not for a classic swing. Turning the feet out=classic, being loose, turning the hips etc. The modern swing is a very different movement.

lol, you’re missing the biggest thing - he takes it back WAY inside and does a little move you pros like to call “over the top”. It’s the absolute key to effortless power and leverage. People like you would analyze all this pointless confusing crap and then try to “correct” his swing.

Pursuing to be a professional disc golfer and have been told to listen to this. I’ve worked on my mental game a lot recently and this has had the greatest impact. I listened to it yesterday, this morning and on my way to play a league round after work. I shot a 1000 rated round with no bogies and an ace! I won in the advanced division winning $146. I think I’ll listen to some more Bob Rotella.
