The Kuccu comes in a 6.5 qt. too. The bowl is contoured more at the bottom, which would probably help it reach the edges better. Also, it now comes with a dough hook. If something on the Kuccu broke, you could replace it 7 times for the same as the price of the KitchenAid (it's $99 now).

Hello sir, I noticed that you used infrafed thermometer to measure the air temperature. in reality these devices measure the temperature of the surface you are aiming at, you can't use them to measure the temperature of the air, as indicated by the makers of these devices. so what you have measured in reality is the change in the water temperature not that of the air temperature. My opinion is that there is no infuluance of the temperature of the water on the efficiency of the cooler because the cooling capacity is related to latent heat of evaporation which happens at all water temperatures between solidification and evaporation.

You might want to learn about latent heat.

Your first experiment did not monitor the ambient humidity, while running it in the same room and bringing up the dew point.

One idea would be to add a chiller that would be used for a TIG welding torch or laser engraver. This would constantly keep the tub of water cold unlike adding ice and therefore continuously producing cold air continuously. Couple that with a great dehumidifier who's output is the swamp coolers air input.

The best has always has been Geo thermal - closed loop. - Just think 12 foot down is a constant 55 degrees every single day,. Basements are about 9 foot down, and you get a nice effect there too. I hope this helps

In evaporative cooling all that matters is the airs' water saturation. It takes dry bulb temp (regular temp) and tries to get it to wet bulb temp (full saturated temp) the more efficient the media is at saturating and the drier the dry bulb air is the greater the drop. The best units are 92% effective, bad units are about 70% when you put colder ice in that isn't evaporative cooling it is heat / cooling transfer from the air to water.

Would love to see a good review on these, as in after using for some time not just a sales pitch. So far this is the closest I could find. I have seen some people saying their cable was not double insulated as advertised on eBay, and lacking in girth for the connectors etc (mc 4 from China), So i wanted to make sure these crimpers are good. Same with the connectors. Nearest solar shop is too far away. Hard to trust anyone these days. Solar set ups can cause fires and burn your house to the ground if they are not good quality, which should not be expensive, apart from the fact that there is strong demand etc. Otherwise I will just use house wiring and protect from the weather using conduit. Once again the government let's us all down by not checking quality of imports and not reporting causes of house fires. Too busy doing their corrupt business deals I suppose.
