My Dad had a Hudson/Nash Terraplane. I think Hudson Nash joined up somewhere along their years of production. We took Sunday rides out in the country. I would go back to that time in a heartbeat. So peaceful back then. People were much friendlier. Nobody gave a crap about your political affiliation. I really enjoyed your video....cute kids. My Uncle had a 1952 Hudson. You had to step down to the floorboard. Pretty cool.

That's my dad and where I grew up. Bittersweet to see this documented, but sure seems like they're going to nice folks that will bring them back to life. 😊

Loved the carshow. Great cars or side . I loved the green 39 Hudson and the red Kaiser Darrin and the 35 Packard. The viper limo inside was very surprising.

Should have traded him a bar of soap and a haircut.

Hudson was one of the cars of choice in derbies back in the early '60s. I never saw a Hudson truck, I was always exposed to Chevys, But the very first photo of me was taken in July 1946 when I was seven months old, my father is standing beside his late 1930 white Hudson holding me up for the camera. He loved Hudson's and Cadillac's

I was a partner in a classic auto dealership several years ago and we had a nice '46 Hudson pickup that was on a Ford Ranger chassis. The sheetmetal on that thing was perfect.

One interesting take-away about these Hudson pickup trucks, from their “car-graft” perspective, definitely kicks Ford Ranchero or Chevy ElCamino aside from being 1st/2nd at this whole car-truck concept

I never remembered seeing one on the road but there use to be one parked in front of a body shop on NY route 12 just north of Binghamton i bet it was there 20+Years

I have a old trailor made from a hudson pickup box. No fenders on it. Hate to scrap it. Dont know what to do with it. Help. Lol

I would have to say that the 1928 Hudson is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. To chop it up is a bit of a shame, but to restore it to all original is allot of work. On one hand if you don't do anything with it, it would probably just rot into the ground. But on the other hand 28 hudsons aren't in production anymore. in my opinion you should have some fun with it, but not modify it so much that it could never be restored. it's better on the road as a rat rod than it is a pile of rust in a hole in the ground.

Saving it is step #1 then comes stabilizing it because there is not enough of it left to warrant a restoration . the best thing would be in my opinion would be newer drive train and chase and above all save the pentina and the head. And then put her back on the rode and enjoy every minute you spend driving a 78 year old classics. Or at least that's is how I do it to mine now. Never have to worry about getting your paint job scratched. Or just put her up on blocks and look at her. ether way ,enjoy your new toy .

With so little left of it that truck is going to take a LOT of money, time and effort to restore and get back on the road. Great that it's not still just sitting and rotting away like so many of the vehicles where it was at are doing.
