The israelites went through 40 years of wilderness on their journey to the promised land, they would have got there quicker but they went arond in circles, not making progress, they did do things wrong, idolatry, grumbling complaining wanting to go back to Egpt (world) etc but yes the wilderness experience can be to refine us .

Wow sorry to hear about the allergic reaction but Emgality which is a 30 day shot was a God sent for me!!!! I’ve been on it now approaching a year and I almost feel it gave me a new life. I’ve dealt with migraines since my childhood and as I got older they got worse and more intense. Now that I’m approaching 40 I was having migraines 25 out of 30 days of the month and since being on Emgality I don’t really get serious migraines I only get a nagging headache every now and then. I hope and pray you find something that works for you!

i agree with everything you said but... she's getting that feeling from somewhere. So in addition to talking to her about the different kinds of beauty and how beauty from within is important. I think you also have to help her develop her self confidence -- aka see her own beauty (inside and out). Because everyone she comes across won't bother to look hard to see who she is inside. And little black girls in particular don't always get to see positive portrayals of themselves on tv or in magazines. especially if they're not light skinned. So I think we need to do more to reinforce the concept that you can be brown or dark skinned AND be beautiful. And that comes from telling our young girls they're pretty (and grown women too) cuz we don't hear that from society enough... Sometimes self love has to be taught.

This was a nice video. When I saw your daughter in the thumbnail (and subsequent pictures) in the video, I thought she is absolutely STUNNING! As a black woman in this country, we all want to be considered beautiful just like any other girl/woman. As teenagers, they all want to fit in and looks seem to matter. You have the right idea to instill in her the beauty that God wants is inside of her. We also have to make sure that she knows that just because this country does not always recognize black women and young ladies as beautiful on the outside, we are just as beautiful. Seeing other beautiful women of color helped my self esteem because you realize that you are unique, rare, and you are something beyond the standard. This usually happens after you mature past your teens but you are doing a good job in helping her see what is important. God bless you!

The fact that so young he is wondering how something functions is indeed the brain of a technician/mathematician but he also have other interests like writing and music and that is good
