Who is Werner Stengel? | The Man Who Designed Over 500 Roller Coasters
Have you ever wondered why the name 'Werner Stengel' has popped up numerous times throughout the Theme Park Industry?
Well it turns out this man is actually one of the most important people in roller coaster history having designed over 500 different roller coasters.
Some of these coasters are milestones as well, with Stengel having designed both Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point and Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure. Both coasters were once the tallest in the world, with Kingda Ka also being the second fastest, now only beated by Formula Rossa.
In this video, we'll take look into the history of Stengel, along with some of the coasters that he has been a part of, and see the legacy that he has left behind.

I went to Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney studios in 2018 though nowadays (2019-present) the Walt Disney studios is even worse than Disney Hollywood studios

For those who live near Philadelphia, Werner Stengel designed Great Bear and Storm Runner at Hersheypark, Talon and Hydra: The Revenge at Dorney Park, and Batman: The Ride, Bizarro, Kingda Ka, El Toro, and Green Lantern at Six Flags Great Adventure. He also designed Maverick, Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Raptor, and Rougarou at Cedar Point. I think Stengel's most iconic work is the Olympia Looping portable coaster with Anton Schwarzkopf.

I don't think they'll change tower of terror since they've invested in the three new unique storylines solely for this version.
Yeah it's true about the new storylines, and you could be right about the Tower of Terror staying. Personally though, the new storylines show to me that Disney want to do away with the whole 'Twilight Zone' branding, which is something that has been rumoured for a while now. Bob Iger is all about only using Disney IP in the parks, which makes me think the DLP version of ToT could change in the future.
In my opinion, Tot will change after 2025 ... let's see what happens in the future ...

The show building of the attraction in star wars land looks more like Rise of the resistance if you watch closely in the officials plans. It seems very logical, you can't find the millennium falcon, guests in DIP are from all over Europe, this attraction need cooperation, with people speaking different languages, it would be difficult...
It's a good point - After looking again, the concept image seems to have what looks like an X-Wing parked up in the area. I think you're right about the different languages thing, and having looked at the plans just now, you might be right. That said, it would be great to have Smuggler's Run in Europe, but I'll definitely take Rise of the Resistance considering the reviews so far!

I really would love to have a world class theme park here in the UK. My biggest wish would be for this company to partner up with Universal or Disney itself.

Er no, both are boring snoring and not very well themed at all. I prefer WDW and Universal. Theme parks in the UK are appalling.
WendyHB73 UK parks have better theming than finnish parks and UK has better rides... So don't complain
I'm still hoping for 3 theme parks over the course of the next 25 years. One being Gate 1 being main park, 2nd park being a "London Paramount Park" and a third gate being a second IP's park with both 1st and 3rd parks having original heart attractions, coasters and rides. Leaving 2nd gate maybe & hopefully if happens to have its own attractions, coasters and rides around its films and more? Aswell Water Park indoors, aswell leave room for Nature & coastal parks. :)
They have already started ground works, also an access road and materials holding area have been built. I live right next to it and see them working on it every day! its a massive site!

@@betsyskiltonhouse4553 work has stopped pretty much completely, over the past few months due to the virus but they are starting to build housing close by, no word on the park as yet though.
