Hey thanks for sharing this post Would anyone happen to know what this noise is ? (Posting a link below from my channel) czcams.com/users/shortsqgFbZHdGVoQ?feature=shared Some quick details, when accelerating very gently (between 1-2k RPM, I hear this little jingle sound that is coming from underneath the car, almost underneath the drivers seat. The sound can be heard on the video posted below at around 10 seconds in (you have to listen carefully to catch it). It literally sounds like a little tambourine is being shaken and I have to drive with the windows down to hear it. I did alot of reading around on this and it seems to me like there are several potential culprits: donut gasket that connect some exhaust pipes, a bracket that's loose, a mounting thats loose, heat shield (though my mechanic confirmed no issues with this) Would be very grateful if anyone can advise
What is the modification on the exhaust because it is not the original sound?

I had to pull the fan stroud out to do the belts and pulleys. Busted all my knuckles. There’s no room. But I was able to complete it. Now I might need to pull it back out to do the power steering pump. It’s already making noise. No leaks though.
I don't have huge hands and it works out in my favor lmao. My power steering pump was also only making a noise and not leaking until it literally blew up lol. So hate to break it to you but if you hear that squealing then you're probably almost toast or hopefully not

If it's not your daily driver like it was for me then I wouldn't worry but otherwise if it really is squealing as bad as mine, then it's a ticking time bomb @@centerbuilder7677

@@ik7garage I would love your recommendation! Right now my ideal would be a 2012 C63 Coupe w/ P31 package. But I’ve been looking into the 507 lately and it really sounds appealing. Not sure if it’s worth the extra money or not, what do you think? And it’s crazy to think that the 507 goes up to 2015 which would be nice but it seems to be very rare. Also would want that in a coupe.
@@WilliamAiken If you can afford the 507 then go for it cos it is a little bit cooler, if you plan on keeping it stock. If you’re going to modify it then get a P31 and do it up how you like. A nice middle ground would be an edition designo C63. You can find them for 30kish

What exhaust setup? I have a 2014 coupe with VRP headers, everything stock after, then FI exhaust. Its way too quite. Im thinking the secondary cats and resonator need to go
I have unkown headers with hiflow cats, have not checked the brand, it goes into an unkown x-pipe and stock mufflers! It sounds amazing. Your solution is definitely an x-pipe. Maybe a resonanted one if you dont want it too crazy

MCT Downshift sounds are right up there frrrr
DCT is boring I like older automatic transmission that lets you feel every shift.
