I DID NOT MAKE THIS SONG, FULL CREDIT GOES TO "Jorge "Jay" Rivera-Herrans" This is the full Epic the Musical song, Luck runs out. I searched the internet for all the clips and edited them together.
If Armando was sprinting at me with that giant driftwood, I would have screamed in fear and called CUT! I know they're friends and this is choreographed, but I must still give props to Jorge for standing his ground.
The first minute of the crew would have been a great intro for Mutiny before Eurylicus confronts Odysseus, it puts shows how mournful and done the crew is at that point and why they turned on Odysseus so quickly.
Wow, in addition to all this great musical talent they can act and choreograph awesome fight scenes too!
I noticed a few verses the same as scyial speeled wrong bit i also noticed he used the same tactic what he did to distract her.
If I was on vacation and I looked out my hotel window spotting two grown men fighting with driftwood my day would be made. Also. Poseidon is a paid actor. That wave was too on point
listening to this after the releasing of the thunder saga brings a completely different view of that song that I was originally prepared for. I would say it's even better, Jorge is a real genius !
OMG I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING, WHEN HE SAYS "I WILL NOT LET YOU GET IN MY WAY" HE USES THE SAME MELODY AS IN HOLD THEM DOWN WHEN ANTINUOUS SAYS "I will not let any part got to waste"

I dont het it. Why is Eurylichus pissed that they ran here when he was the ine who wanted to leave the men behind in the Cercie saga? Shouldn't he be glad the that his captain is no longer filled with false hope and sees how dire their situation is?
He’s upset because Odysseus is basically backtracking on his beliefs in order to save himself. Eurylocus wanted to leave the men with Circe so that the rest of the crew wouldn’t be put in danger, where as Odysseus refused to fight in order to save himself
Odysseus' character development is actually insane. And I'm not even talking about the Underworld saga. In Pupeteer Odysseus goes ''I can only hope you'd do the same'' Here you can hear him say ''You know you would have done the same'' Now obviously those are two seperate situations, ones that are very different. However in Pupeteer his line is ''If it was you who I had to save. I can only hope you'd do the same'' Now I'm not an expert an greek mythology, but I heard that Eurylochus is married to Odysseus' sister. And here Eurylochus is talking about Odysseus loving his wife to the point he sacrifices others. Odysseus says that Eurylochus would do the same for his wife. So in Pupeteer it's implying Odsseus himself, and here Odysseus' sister. Which is pretty ironic I might just be overthinking this, but Jorge would be the one to do something like this

Honestly tho, what was odysseus supposed to do against scylla?! And the hypocrisy after wanting to leave the men turned to pigs at circe ! 😂
I mean, Ody was who complained at the idea of leaving their man when on the Circe island. From Eury's pov is something like: "Wait- YOU were the one who risked it all for our men back on Circe's, AND called me out for wanting to leave. Why are YOU out of ANYONE sacrificing our men NOW?!"
@@Fruity_one yeah but then again the circe situation seemed much more reasonable from the get go, "oh turned our men into pigs? Maybe i can talk it out of her , scylla currently eating our men and its the only chance we get to escape!" But i do understand him somewhat after he already questioned ody in luck runs out, im just sad it ends like that between them
@@Devionkurasao We also have to take into the matter that, after Polyphemous and Poseidon, Eurylicous REALLY doesn't want any more loses/risks, while Odysseous is trying to embrace the 'Open arms' mentality, and it causes conflict. But yeah, it's sad to know that they'll end up in a Hamilton-Burr situation
@@Fruity_one oh yeah, they have been burned with the cyclops trying to reason with him too, poseidon coming after them for that must have stung even more for eury, looking back on it there was no way they don't end in conflict 😅
@@Devionkurasao Yeah, sadly. Maybe if Polites (R.I.P sweet prince) was still around he could've helped mantain them from falling into pieces. I want to believe that the line "Everything changed since Polites" from 'Keep your friends close' does not only refers to Odysseous, but also to Eurylicous (they were a trio after all) as he has become less risky and more cautious about everything (Btw, sorry if i only focus on Eury, it's just that not a lot of people pays attention to his view of it all and, since i like doing breakdowns of a character's behaviour, i rant on this kind of stuff whenever i get the change)

@@RavenSutcliffe probably that's why they end up backstabbing him. they realized he couldn't be reasoned with and is too capable of a figter for Eurylochus to take on alone

its odysseus's fault. he didnt listen the advice of eury in lucks runs out! He didnt listen what he has to Say at the start of circe saga. Eury is the second in command but ody didnt try to listen him
@@Gab-ptp i’m pretty sure what Eurylochus was going to say at the start of puppeteer was that he was the one who opened the bag or at least led the charge of opening the bag. thats why he said he had to “confess”. so it kinda puts points against him lol. especially when in the odyssey he’s considered cowardly and doing everything he can to turn odysseus’ men against him, which then leads to the crew eating helios’ cows, something odysseus specifically said not to do, which then got them all killed lol.

The choice in music was intentional and they didn’t “forget” at all. This is a callback to “Luck runs out” when Eurylochus started questioning Oddy in his choices as a leader, and in this song he’s realizing that he was right and decides to take action by fighting Odysseu

I recently looked up Eurylochus on the Internet to see if there was something more besides "one of Odysseus' comrades" to him in the myths, and it turns out he's his brother in law. So the phrase: "You're like the brother I could never do without" makes a lot of sense.
And in the Tiresias song there’s the line “I see portrayals of betrayal and a brothers final stand”, then Eurylochus stages a coup and Odysseus has to kill him💀
@@dragonblast417 It can also be interpreted that way, but seeing as how the rest of the lines are in chronological order I’m inclined to believe it was referring to Eurylochus. The “sacrifice of man” line could have been referring to Polites though

Song of past romance is his love with Penelope Sacrifice of men is the men he lost fighting the Cyclops Portrayals of betrayal are his men opening the wind bag. A brother's final stand could be referring to the lost of Polites. Then the future Song of past romance is Calypso. Sacrifice of men are the men he sacrifice to Scylla Portrayals of betrayal are his men again, disobeying him and eating the sacred cattle of Apollo enraging Zeus. Brother's final stand now then is Eurylicus mutiny.

He wanted to burn the island of the lotus eaters so that the soldiers can be burned in there. He encouraged the other soldiers to kill the cyclops so they’ll be trap in there forever. He wanted to run so that the other Cyclopes would get them. He wanted the soldiers to die in the storm and to not get the help from Aeolus.
