Hey! Just found your recipe. I never used lentils before and thought I need to cook them first. I just cooked them for 10 minutes. If I cook them first, how can I save the recipe from turning to mush? Just add them at the end?? 😢

Great video, I use one of my plastic water bottles after I drink it. I cut the top off& put in half apple-cider vinegar & water, a couple drops of dawn& flip the top over like a funnel& it's done.

You can have some soon after it's made, but for the most-part, this is served cold.
This is not the original River Rice Spanish rice recipe!! I should know because I have made it hundreds of times!! It got my sister and I thru college in the late 1960s. The original was less fussy and really delicious.
