Trucking in a winter storm is a job for the best of the best. Here in Michigan the weather can make everything hard to do, driving is by far the most difficult.

Using a note 3 and smooth q gimbal to vlog. I'm a dad of 4 kids that make vlog about trucking and the fun we have together. With the long hours of my job it is not easy to make videos. I'm going to try with just my phone to vlog, this video is to represent the ability to do so. Hope you enjoy.
Why not just swap tanks instead of refueling with dangerous methods?.
No more new videos??
I’m getting too old lol
@@DominicHallBuffaloNick We need more videos offloading propane/butane
I guess safety is not the priority . Thank you for instructing us.
Any video like this gives the inexperienced the idea of what is the 'Right Way'. 35 Years of Hazmat has taught me 1) PPE first for propane is ear protection, FR clothes, insulated gloves, Hard hat and safety glasses. 2) Chock blocks 3)Connect the ground cable to the unit. 4) NEVER drop the hoses on the ground - those 2" hoses are super easy to handle. Pull them out with 1 hand and catch the loose end with the other hand. Opening belly valve slowly to equalize the pressure and all other valves get opened very gradually. A quick motion on a valve handle can 'slam' the safety valve shut. Overall the video gave us a glimpse of how it is done. Hauled fuel for years and then Propane. Loved Propane - clean dry and doesn't stink like fuel. Empty tanks in the winter give great traction too. Canadian regs are enforced more than the U.S obviously. Doing an unload like that up here would earn you a trip out the gate.
US gets enforced also. It all depends on the plant manager. But ppe is important. Obviously common sense is more. I had a guy at my plant that got burned, how I don't know and he had a face shield. But it got him in the neck
Very helpful. Would like to know more on the spray valve?
Video supposed to be about loanstar but it’s a bunch of complaints about unrelated crap
Crazy, I live in south bend, indiana and was just researching propane jobs out here. This reminds me alot of hauling oil and jet fuel, just a tad bit different.
How DO YOU KNOW HOW THE LOAD WILL FIT ...MAKE A VIDIO TO SHOW THE PROPER WAY TO DO THAT
czcams.com/video/GgrDZdEOnYc/video.html I'm hauling one of those too
I have a tanker endorsement but don't like heights, I turned down a food grade tank job because I don't want to get on top of tank for hatches....so I was thinking of this type of job....correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe I have to climb up on any of these compressed gas tank jobs correct? I believe this is the job I need
No climbing, it’s an easy job no time frames load anytime. It’s like being retired.
If you only work 5 days a week it’s around 80,000 if you work more you can make 100,000 or more
@@DominicHallBuffaloNick what are some companies I can look into? Who do you work for? Thanks for the info bud
@@bijanakbari2049 where are you out off?
I worked for cob ash for 10 years, now I’m independent
Heck ya I'm an old retired truck driver! I have 40 years of hauling lpg and nh3 good job on the video I also trained in drivers through the past and empathize the safety cuz it can kill you by being careless thanks bro good video❤
Sickening that he is not wearing PPE and there is no one to supervise the off load in case he has a medical emergency. No ground wire means no off loading. They should also be reported for having a rust spot on the tank. Whoever owns the transportation company is going to be looking at a multi-million dollar negligence suit for not properly training, testing and checking their driver's safety knowledge. The customer should be audited for the safety of their facilities. They need to have that grounding system checked annually by a certified technician. The static charge caused by the fuel flowing through the hose and pipes needs to be dissipated through a discharge wire that is connected before the product transfer begins.

Hey Dominic What do you think about this truck meaning quality, international have really bad reputation … does it worth to buy a pre used?
I now own a 2015 pro star with isx550 deleted and it’s a good truck
Like to learn more about hauling propane bud, thanks
Thanks bud
Its Round About
Thank You for posting this helpful video
Hey dom love ur videos
Where do you load the propane
👍👍👍👍👍
Can you show how you wet kit set up and how it connects to the trailer?
It’s a hydro pack 2 line with couplers, a wet kit will work also 2 line with couplers. Some trailers are a jack shaft.
September 2022 is getting cold 🥶 propane, season getting busy.thanks for the video
Good information Driver.
I’m a colleague from Italy…. I have the download from behind tank
I’ll check it out
I see tank was empty. You don't have to cool tank down before unloading? I delivery liquid nitrogen and with a empty tank is considered a first fill. It's a long process of cooling down tank before pumping liquid in because tank can explode.
Where's ground wire?
Great video take me with you
Make more videos
How long does it show how long does it take to fill the trailer and tractor
nice i do the same thing with ammonia..
Great video!!
Damn dude I’m dying to get into propane, probably real good money in it.
Looks so much better than hauling gasoline into bad neighborhoods at 2 in the morning.
Thanks for sharing your expertise on your work. Your detailed explanations clarified aspects of a subject I knew very little about. I was taken by how much more there is to your job than just hooking up a hose and letting it flow! Be careful out there! Be safe! Thanks! Bob
where is your FR gear hard hat glasses great video
It’s camouflage lol
Did you miss your turn? :) First street on the left after crossing the bridge in Cheboygan would've taken you straight to your drop-off location. I was surprised when you went past it.

A quad axle 18,900 uswg / how many litres of propane is that ?
It’s a 19,200, I can put 17,000 gallons 64,345L
Trying to get same year with 480k for construction side dump. Are they reliable? This one an automatic too
I’d say yes especially deleted, the 500HP pull really good
I used to live in Cheboygan but now I live in Harrison
Great machine. So how is it now that you have more than 10 miles on it?
There’s 500 miles on it now and not 1 problem
Drivers near my home release tank pressure into the woods before they get reloaded. Is this common?
Probably but I don’t think it’s legal lol
@@DominicHallBuffaloNick I found out what is going on. After unloading they still have pressure but no liquid so they bin dumping the tank pressure into the wilderness so they can reload faster. Its still extremely flammable vapors. Turned them into Pennsylvania DEP with a video of them doing it . Steve Mieszkowski a Dep.air quality specialist for my area covered it up for HILCO trucking company... two eye witnesses and a video to prove it and no help to stop them. Wonder how much $ $ he got for it.
As Steve commented, it's Mobile Alabama. It's also very close to the Florida border, just under 40 miles. It goes under the Mobile River, not the Gulf Of Mexico
Trucks near my home get loaded up and go about a mile away from the site. Some pull in and release pressure into the woods. Is there a good reason for doing this after being loaded?
Not sure
That's the coolest helmet I've ever seen!!
Lol. Good show man
I lived there during my elementary years. Went to West Elementary, was a Nutcracker on the Christmas Parade, we sang Carol's with the locals at the main park downtown Christmas eve.
