The spreadsheet is slightly deceptive (intentionally or not) you have to pay 5 dollars a month for Robinhood Gold, that 5 dollars removes the 2.50 boost each month, and thus wipes the "extra" interest. But you still make the 5% APY, it's just not "boosted" by the boost. In order for the boost to matter, you need to have OVER $12,000. But you only need over 1,200 to break even on Robinhood Gold.

So if you invested 1k youd get 1 percent? Thats 10 a day lolz

If everyone was able to put the time and effort into researching some of these companies behind these stocks and use a little critical outside the box thinking skills mid/long term investing can be profitable.

Just a friendly thing, Ally doesn't give you the ability to buy fractional shares. I believe you can drip, and get fractional shares that way. Loved the reviews.

Getting an upfront 6k bonus IRA match which I can earn an average of 1.5% per month compounding for 5 years, would be $8,659 ROI + 6k RH match = $14,659. And that $60 annual membership fee for 5 years comes out to be $300. RH is a choice I would take. Of course for someone with 200k to transfer, that 6k is just a loose change.

Wow. I just looked back at my records and saw that I got out in September 2023 and the math/interest was off and 2 weeks later I got another $1 transferred into my account. I feel very lucky and I can't wait to hear news that everyone got their money back plus interest. Good info.

When you're comparing dividends to interest income, you should probably note the difference in ordinary vs dividend income for taxes. I believe savings interest is ordinary income as opposed to qualified dividends having the favorable tax treatment.
