Soulmask - My Blackstone Fortress
This was a fun build. It took some grinding to get enough obsidian and turning them into blackstone build pieces. I am more a builder so played in a casual mode without any building decay. I especially like that all workstations are hidden underneath the temple.
These was some issues with elevation and the front wall has a nook. Also there was couple locations where it was not possible to built. Luckily those wiggle wall lcations are behind the build. Might be that I build to close to the elite alligator.

A new Ashlands raid event created me a horde of warriors while I was a building tower on top of floating rocks. My army marches and keeps the place safe. Event spawners stay. The best defence ever!

In a vanilla server I tried to collect multiple level 2 animals/monsters in my zoo. Luckily I found most of them in 2 different locations. Naturally I am missing some newer ones as this was build around 1,5 years ago.

I really like how this small base is build around a large stone on a very small island. There is no mist in this location and as base is surrounded by water, it quite safe. There are several mistland locations of intrest near by making this perfect place to build.

I wanted to build around the round tower hole in the mountains. Plan was to build a wizards tower with connected smaller towers. Yes, I have died several times jumping down to hole after forgotting to eat :)

Two castles on on connected small islands. Super safe location. Spent lot of time decorating. I took some effort to get there couple loxes with a boat, 2 star boars and 2 star wolves.

This was one of my new bases couple years ago. I like building on small islands to keep enemies at bay. We started this server with 3 friends. This was our secnd world. I have spent so much time building and collecting resources :)

The ashland update removed some mountain and blacforest landmass but left large stones floating in the air. A perfect location to built a chain of towers. I had quite lot graysten stones, but used local world to spawn more rocks to speed up the process. Otherwise this is a vanilla server.

I was thinking about building on one of those mountains in mistlands aswell but it just seems like soo much work. Also really nice base

Unfortunately the tower was too small and I could not get proper placement for the Drakkar. Need to rebuild the top of the skijump tower. You could place to boat on top, but it was too big to stay there.

Impressive, great work! But how did you dig this square hole in the first place?
Thank you. Dug using small ladders from beneath with pickaxe and rake. Rake is used to smooth the wall surfaces. Originally just used pickaxe with a similar method to go underground from nearby. This hidden entry hole for big drills was last part of the build.
First I was gonna say "But, there's only ONE bell pepper / paprika plant on top".., Then I was gonna say "That's not a farm, that's a copper mine!" But then I was pleasantly surprised! 😲 Well done!😻
Sick Kingdom, Lord Vika! Is this all done with the free builds, or did you buy something? In your opinion, is the Castle set worth 2500 V-bucks?
Thank you. I did not buy anything. Just collected a ton of recources and built. I like building and collecting resources is relaxing.

How the hell did you get a 1 hour rested buff? That is wild, I need to play more and progress.
After you get better furniture to your base, the rested buff gets better quite fast.

Base is located in the Pillars of Creation mountain. Pretty much in middle of the map. I tried to show to location in the begnning of the video. But I should have opened the map instead.

Farming underground actually works??
Yes it works :) Super cool. Just be sure to have a tall enough space. My trees grew into the second floor from downstairs.
Digging through all that limestone is how I setup a base and starting farming around Blazing Rock without finishing the Fell Wispwyvern lol.
I could not defeat the Fell Wispwyvern, so started consentrate into the digging and building. :)
