I am so excited for fall stitching! I have so many I want to start in the next couple months. I'm thinking I'll stitch the Raven with you because it's on my list. We have a local farm her that opens its Apple Orchard up to the public. You go pick your own apples and fill a brown bag. I don't know how much it is this year, but it's usually pretty inexpensive. I can't wait for it to open and then make an apple cobbler, apple dumplings, and apple pie all topped with vanilla ice cream. Yummy!

Great project choices this week! I love seeing the Spring Awakens in just one colour. I am more tempted to do them all that way. I did see in the Jan Hicks FB group that there will be a SAL for any one of her new releases. I like your floss colour and fabric choice for the new fall start. We have many apple orchards in our area, and it was so neat to see all the apples turning red. Happy stitching!

I love all of your fun projects, you got a lot accomplished! I am trying to decidewhich Laslo Koday pattern to buy for a New Year start. Meanwhile busily working on my ATCs. But not a single apple in any of them!

25th Anniversary is the Silver and 50th Anniversary is the gold. And I think 75th Anniversary is Diamond but not sure of that last one. Good to see all your work.

Great to see you this evening Laura. Fair dues to be able to stitch in the car, I just can't do it. I can knit or crochet on long journeys, otherwise I fall asleep which I always feel is very unfair on my husband. Love your stitching as always. The Ireland pattern is really taking shape. I really like that one. Glad you had a good weekend away with family. I took out the MFE 2023 SAL this week & I'm really enjoying stitching on it at the moment. With the exception of an odd day, it's been autumn here since spring & very wet. Hopefully we get a proper autumn & don't go straight into winter. Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪

As usual great stitching & flosstube I agree with you about the seasons I like autumn but hate the winter I’m in Scotland so our summers are a bit iffy We’ve had a couple of nice days days here & a good few warm but rainy days It’s weird that I like the warm days as I really bad hayfever & the sun makes me itch but I just stay in the shade & down the tablets! Don’t think I could take the heat that some of your states get I find 18C here is too hot sometimes! Look forward to your next update

Hi Laura, I have found that most of James Patterson books that I have read have very short chapters whether they are in large print or not. It keeps you turning those pages and finishing the book real quick. I really enjoy your channel.

How do you get so much stitching in with company visiting? I'm always impressed with your progress and how lovely and diversified your projects are. Enjoy Labor Day at the beach. Is it really windy down your way too? The upside of that of couese is no green flies, yeah!

I've got Holmes Marple & Poe on hold (33rd in line, just 4 weeks to wait 😂)! I started Dreaming of Autumn Leaves for Beth's SAL last year. It will *not* be done for her birthday this year 🫣. Now I have to pick a pumpkin pattern... 😁

Hi Laura! I laughed so hard when you were giving your book report! My husband reads James Patterson, the "normal" print size. The chapters are even shorter in terms of the number of pages - smaller font - and there are that many chapters! The joke is that he's always close to a good stopping place! Glad you enjoyed it...I'm reading a biography of Ernest Shackleton and historical fiction about the jacobite uprising in 1740s scotland and England....so good! Outlander without time travel! I did the Jane Austen sampler without the alphabet and love it- totally recommend it! I did it in 310 but if I were to do it again, I would probably use a blue like her dress in the BBC adaptation.
