3000 series I think were super cool and strong machines. But they had so many reliability and transmission issues is why I would personally stick with a 2000 or 2500 series cub with a cast iron rear.

Sounds good to me! I prefer Command twins over anything else but courage twins arent bad.

Cant beat Kohler engines in my opinion! They are damn reliable if you simply maintain them.

Thats exactly how mine sounded. Seemed like a good motor except i always felt it idled too high.

Jim have you ever used super glue and baking soda to gether. Experiment, put a pea sized drop of glue on something then sprinkle the baking soda on. It gets hard fast.

I had one of those diesel cub cadet at my job back in the day . We had mostly John Deere 332 which I own three of those now . Don't see to many red cub cadets out there . Back in the seventies I work at a IH dealership and worked on those things .
