I caught many kings off Point Defiant in the 80s. Back when fishing was good.
This is an old gold mine from long ago, i do not have any history on it but i was in the mine in the early 70s, there are several old mine shafts up in the peak area. One used to be right by the road but DNR covered it up several years ago.

I will have to meet up with you sometime on the green. That's not too far of a drive. I would take the bus from everett to fish the puyallup when I was younger.

Buzz Bomb green and white. Salmon like it deep. Jig in a slack tide only. Be very careful. The Narrows are very dangerous.

Man ive gone camping here every year for 3 years and havent caught a single king. A few trout pinks and a coho though any suggestions.

Kings are down around 85-100 ft so you just try to work the column in front of them. Dogfish are down there too tho
When did Dash Point open back up for clams? It had been closed for so long I stopped checking lol
Dash point is only closed for shellfish harvesting June 1- August 31. Wa.gov regulations Far as I know , Dash point has been open forever. Geoduck divers are there twice a year.
@@hybrid_john_3387 Right on, I see people clamming there and figured it was a seasonal thing. I know it was closed closed at one point due to the water conditions, but noted. I'm much more down for oysters either way lol But Dash Point is literally only 10 - 45 minutes away depending on the extremely well timed lights on Peasley lol
I know the dock has been closed. But claming all depends on the toxins/red tide.
