This is not how it is for me, I just tap A to increase in speed and RB to slow down. No need to hold anything.
This is why the Xbox elite controller works so well with this game, bind A to the paddle, then you just spam the paddle with your middle finger, leaving your thumb free to use the stick uninterrupted.
How can we fix when we are in cinematic camera, we should always hold x button... I dont want to hold x anymore, just want to watch the game like on keyboard cinematic mode.
Just set a waypoint and sprint before you go into cinematic mode the horse has an autopilot feature
nicetry but toggle would be better as you cant look around with right stick at the same time

Hey i just loaded this and it doesnt work what am i doing wrong PLEASE HELP....i loaded the newest script hook on nexus mods and the native trainer is active when i press F5 so i know its running but when i run my horse it acts like normal🤷🏼♂️
Hey mate, thanks for your interest. 1. Download this mod, unzip and copy HorseSprint.asi to your RDR 2 game folder 2. Get on your horse, quickly press sprint button on your gamepad few times and hold it - now your horse should sprint as long as you holding sprint button. I haven't checked if my mod works with newer version (don't have time for it now), but usually mods don't break with new ScriptHook version.
