we can never live up to our daily expectations and we fall short that's why we trust in God who will always love us no matter what. But it also mean we shouldn't abuse the grace of God for if we are in Christ, we live for Christ not for ourselves.

Joshua 1:8 says “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate upon it day and night; that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. For then shalt thou make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” We must memorize the scripture as best we can, and meditate upon it as much as we possibly can. Then we’ll make our life prosperous and then we’ll have good success.
