I've also hiked and swam in the low water-level pools at the top of Yosemite Falls. It's neat, but I would offer a word of warning... be aware of the weather conditions miles up river. If there is an isolated rainstorm up river, it could result in a flash flood downstream, and potentially sweep any bathers over the edge of the waterfall.

The road along the mountain pass to the lake is a single lane dirt road, but 2 wheel drive mini buses do it every day so it's doable if you're an experienced driver. Easiest way to visit is just go on a tour like we did 🎉

Is the road safe

Just came back from New York after our family vacation to Montreal and Quebec which was amazing. We only spent one night; but we needed more time in New York. Will probably repeat this trip next year. Great video.

Might not be true in the bigger cities (due to homeless problems), but camping overnight in Walmart parking lots is done all of the time in my area.

Awesome video!! But when did you guys go? I’ve never seen the water flow in Upper Falls this weak which is why I’ve never seen those beautiful pools. That would be an epic and refreshing swim!!

Just went june 9th when tioga pass opened up the next day and merced river rafting! All the falls were raging and awesome!

She cooked all the time and washed the clothes and you just enjoyed your trip. that's not fair.

I would never travel to NY city, for that matter New York itself. What a shameful communist state in the union. rule of law is what in NY? Give me give me give me is going to be harder for bullies; American’s hate bullies. I just have a hard time understanding why you N.Y.ers have not voted for a government that loves America or at least likes it. Not all scholars agree on what fascism is, but all they need to do is look at N.Y.

You should go in april-May, the falls are at their peaks and sometimes they open the tioga pass in late May so you have access to Toulumne meadows and Wawona which have some amazing falls, lakes, and hikes and it's less populated...75% of visitors to Yosemite stay in the valley

Great choices with Central Park and the NY Public Library. Way more people than that visit Times Square. Interesting that you picked the Morgan. It’s one of my favorite places, but most tourists overlook it. Glad you decided to go there.

In addition, yes Yosemite is my most favorite place .. hopefully in like a month I’ll be making an epic road trip out west from West Virginia to South Dakota ( badlands and mt Rushmore) glacier Alaska crater lake Yosemite sequoia Joshua Tahoe Vegas Utah Colorado and a few other stops in between .. btw did the ice help cool the frig or u all figured out what was wrong with it ?

Just found you're channel. You have done such a professional job with your videos. Love that you explain some of the history and meaning of the sites. Great job seamlessly integrating Google Maps satalite views with drone footage to give a really good idea of the layout and proximity of the various sites you visited. We're looking forward to more. We have plans on visiting Peru for the first time in May 2024; so we'll really enjoy your videos even more.
