    By end of Study 8, I pause i thought through myself My thoughts (Possibly already later in the video) Could the different patterns when fired together, be different timings between a 120 shots, and a 380 shot? Think about recoil, Recoil from one shot, would affect the other shot (this is why it's predictable with one barrage) But different timings, from both Strategems firing, would cause different recoil. Still not random, Just harder to predict because of timing between shots from the 2 barrages

    After the precise barrage upgrade, i stopped bringing the laser and now most of the time have 380mm with me. Does the same job, but unlimited. Knowing that the middle is no longer safe because of that upgrade somehow hurts me a little bit. Could've assembled my team, everyone throws their 380mm all on one spot, we stand in the middle and admire the beauty of destruction all around... gone is this chance!

    I use the 120 on solo to clear enemy bases. I use the 380 with at least one other player simultaneously to cleat larger areas. They're both very useful.

    Barrages do nothing but team kill. Don't use them unless there is a daily. They absolutely suck and rarely hit anything you want to hit. More times than not some nitwit drops them right on top of the team. I block those people.

Hopefully Arrowhead expands on the mechanics a bit and you're able to keep up with it and hopefully also don't mind it being integrated into Wikis and/or guides for the community.       Incredibly kind of you for the Super Thanks. I like to be helpful, and unfortunately my Barrages video (QGIS work) didn't turn out as helpful as I'd hoped. It was a fun experiment, nonetheless. QGIS was not what I typically use for work, but it was interesting to learn. Heck, my first gig georeferencing anything was orthorectification of aerials at the USDA-NRCS using Erdas IMAGINE. Different tools, same idea.

    This is definitely because it's a procedural pattern and the random seed it is based on starts at the same value every time the game starts, incrementing for every stratagem thrown, creating the same set of patterns every game.

    Great video, I love this shit. Totally unnecessary but really interesting. Something about going this in depth on a video game mechanic tickles me. It would've been cool to see some images of all the impact points from your tests at once. Based on the ones you did give, it seems the 120 and 380 does a bit more damage in the direction of the player, and the fire is focused on two 'parallel' 'lines', with less impacts connecting the lines. the 120 also seems less likely to damage the stratagem landing point than the 380.

      It varies, unfortunately. You could get distances for a single throwing direction for a single pattern from my Google Sheet using the Grid Overlay (each square is 13m x 13m).

      I watched it yesterday. Edit: I also read zeddypanda's post on Reddit and have completed a cursory review of the data on github. I've been revisiting Boosters and from what I'm seeing for Vitality Enhancement (50, 100, 150 AR), concerning headshots, my data aligns with the values in the tables.
