Hi,New @ This Having Trouble With My 08 TBSS 2W I Only Have 1st Gear And Reverse Tried To Replace Shift Solenoids In The Proses Of Doing It One Of The Shift Valves And Solenoid Shoot Out Hitting The Ground And Now I Have No Idea Which End Of The Shift Valve Goes Back In.

My chevy usually slips around 30-39 mph sometimes the engine revs to hard at around 60 and above idk if its the torque converter or the transmission also if i let go of the gas the rpms just drop right away and its like im driving a standard when i step on it it seems as low rpms dont do much untill i reach a certain rpm then it feels like it engages( the transmission is automatic)

I lost gear 3&4 in my 07Avalanch, so I had transmission rebuilt. Truck drove fine for 2 months then lost 4th again and then it wouldn't come out of 1st. Transmission shop say they can find anything wrong with the transmission. had engine check and its good..... What could it be?

Mine 2002 Denali... It shifts great to all the gears but if you really floor it and it goes down like 2 years it just feels like it's slipping and it makes a clicking noise. Is that the 3.4 clutch or is that my torque converter so I just drive it slow for now... Runs great engine wise... Could be a lifter but I doubt it. It just feels like transmission

I suspect this applies to GMC Sonoma as well?

Hello, I need help diagnosing or fixing this issue with my truck. It stalls above second gear and the speedometer flickers a lot, could be going between 30-80 km/h. Its a 2006 Chevy Avalanche. The check engine light is on with error code P0449. I've taken it to a dozen mechanics and none of them have been able to find/solve this issue. I had the transmission replaced in 2018 and didnt experience this issue before. one of the mechanics i talked to said the transmission had shattered teeth, making it stall in higher gears. i didnt have any money to fix it and it sat for a year, not driving. i took it out for a drive and it was driving fine for about 500km on a highway before the issue resurfaced. i figure if the teeth were shattered it would be a constant issue? Basically when the truck tries to shift into 3rd gear or above there is an 80% chance it will stall, the engine RPM will skyrocket but the vehicle will slow/stop until returning to second or first gear. I would really appreciate any help i can get, thanks!

I have a question my 02 avalanche 2500 4x4 8.1 liter. Radiator got busted so I got aftermarket it's lot smaller but worked for about a month then all gears went out I changed fluid and filter and flushed tranny worked ran perfect shift was perfect 20 mins later drive gears are out it tries to get a gear in drive but when u give more gas it loses gear it's only drive gears tho

The more I watch the more I realize I prolly can’t do this by myself lol this will happen to me but I have no reverse either. Sometimes if I’m lucky I can jolt the truck back and forth and something will click and lock back into place.

yes I have s10 2000 ls extended cab 4.3L v6. My transmission will lag so bad when I try to pull out to make a turn my transmission will lag and make my truck stop and lag for 5 seconds and then all of a sudden take off like it skips a gear or something.

I'm trying to pass emissions and at the same time while I was doing a tune up the transmission decides to act up I replaced a and b solenoids, tool scanner said solenoid a is stuck in off mode I lost reverse 2and and 4th on a 99 chevy Tahoe I think it's the sun gear and sun shell if so I dont know what to do because I do not have the funds to fix it think I would be ok going to junk yard and trying to find one and swap it out or what would you recommend and I also think it's making my emmisions fail because the guys dont know how to let it up shift to 3rd gear I explain it to them let off throttle at 25 mph for a second while it upshifts then press throttle again but these guys ate doing 35 40 in first gear and then letting off throttle to upshift dont know if that has an effect but it keeps failing emmisions now never had that problem before just did a tune up

My 01 blazer zr2 wasn't shifting to 3rd just revving. Took it in 2yrs ago got a rebuilt trani and still the same issue. Scan tool says the B solenoid. Replaced both solenoids a&b filter&fluid just to, still same issue out $1500 so far. Wondering if the cooler is restricting pressure to B solenoid, doubt they flushed the lines.
