Windy Acres Farm is a small hobby farm nestled on roughly ten acres in the slow rolling hills of Southern Maryland. It is home to the ever increasing herd of animals that permeate our daily lives. Horses, Goats, Dogs and Cats along with a myriad of wild critters.

The Tactacam Reveal X Gen 2 takes fantastic photos, has really good battery life and is super easy to setup. This is not the fastest camera on the market, but this is a really solid trail camera for the money. These are all random shots from the three trail cameras we have out in the woods along our main trail. We have three of them located in pretty good locations to catch some action.

... so many trees to avoid it's not a very good place to fly. I was trying to land along the front driveway but miscalculated the height of the treetops on final approach and managed to wedge the plane up in there good. Buddy with a bucket truck came over and was able to retrieve the plane.

The degree of flooding the main pasture endures, sometimes, when we encounter steep rainfall rates or totals. If we get greater than 1 inch an hour for a couple hours, the level of runoff created is crazy. This day was about 1.41 inches of rain in about 90 minutes.

I love watching wild turkeys they have their own social order and lingo , their vocalizations are very interesting .If you haven't seen the movie "my life as a turkey" it is so worth watching , they have quite the social order and hierarchy..... plus the little ones are so darned cute .
