Tora de Tost Trials school 2024
Another beautiful week at Tora de Tost... never boring or shabby. I had a lot of fun observing young people improving so fast. This was my third school that I had a chance to observe and I am impressed. Jordi Pascuet off-road centre is not a "one man show". I have seen entire family and Jordi's friends relentlessly helping in this project. Jordi has charisma and generous hear therefore he attracts people with similar energy. This is a definitely the key to Jordi Pascuet Offroad centre successes. As I mention before - he has entire family and friends behind him who are committed to help! I simply love it!
Another legend this time from USA Mr Ryan Young and his long time partner were also doing fantastic work when they were a part of Ryan Young Product with the Spring brake training for teens. Jordi Pascuet and Ryan Young are my heroes - those guys to these days are putting heart and effort to promote and improve trials discipline to theirs best abilities. Koodo's to those great guys!

Another successful school at Jordi Pascuet Off-road centre in Spain. What a fantastic program. I am very glad to observe this school and seeing being successful. Kids have here all what they need during summer: fun, learning, friendship, beautiful location, accommodation with food and supervision - the certain recipe for success.

It was a great competition. Majority of rocks at VMC are super slick after rain... almost like ice. It was difficult for me to get relax initially but I liked it a lot. What an incredible day with fantastic company. Norm and Mike were super helpful for both of us, me and Glyn. They showed us the unforgettable beauty of Sooke. This made our day a blast. Did the stealth bike have good range for the ride?
On a first day was colder and the bike was used first time by our colleagues: mostly uphill and they haven't nail it how to recharge going down hill. They did 70% what we didi and they end up with 2% power left. We used one gas tank by the time they were done. On a second day I played much more on a sections and burned one gas tank (1.9 litre) they had 75% power left. They also figured out how to recharge bike on a way down. I think all depends from terrain and temperature.

Nice work Ryan, I just started trial at 59 years old, I have some motocross experience but nothing I could bring along, this is definitely unique in it's own way. Trying to get static balance. I heard trying to drive slow and straight over a 2x12 will help?
Do you live near Gdańsk? If so, I would be happy to join your practice for a while just to observe how you ride and learn from you.

You guys make it look too easy 😊 I'm 59 recovering from throat cancer surgery and doc said he got all the cancer. I lost my larynx and my ability to talk but I'm alive! To celebrate I bought a new Gas Gas TXT and at 59 I thought I was done with bikes as my last bike was a 2002 Honda CR 250 almost the last year of Honda 2 strokes but sold it 7 years ago. Now I have my 2nd trials bike 😊 I had a Montesa in 2003. So much fun but I will never ride as good as you guys. Be safe and have fun

Looks cool. Always wanted to learn trials. Even bought a Montesa back in 2002 but never learned to ride. Just took it outside the house got frustrated and gave up. Sold it 6 months after I bought it for half the cost of brand new. I bought it brand new in Rome NY and just gave up. I had motocross experience but couldn't learn to ride trials. I guess I got upset when I advertised a $6000 bike at yhat time for $2500. I couldn't even pay the personal loan off. I just didn't want to look at it anymore. Now I'm sorry. A guy in Laramie Wyoming got a hell of a deal. I just got frustrated and wanted it gone lol. So fast forward to now I'm 59 and too old for trials riding. Absolutely 100% a healthy strong young man's hobby. Oh well too bad. Ended up battling throat cancer which almost killed me twice but I pulled through the 4 surgeries. 3 bags of blood 2 months of recovery and now my wife who means well God bless her she wants to buy me a 2023 gas gas TXT GP 250 brand new! I told her it's too late now too old for off road anything and certainly way too old for a trials bike. Have to face reality it's for young healthy people not old men
I'm JUST starting out my trials life at 56. YOU my friend have BEATEN the odds and are a survivor. Buy a cheapo 2010 OR older for next to nothing and PLAY allllll day. If you decide you don't want to - sell it for what it owes you! NOTHING LOST. Why not? You have full support of a loving wife. Go do. :D
