I’ll be back….. In my CZcams analytics I see one of my videos gets suggested by this video, how this works I have no idea but I am thankful and grateful so I’m here to like sub and comment to show my appreciation.
Everyone knows Duran in his prime wouldn’t get beat, it’s just the fact the guy came back at all from near paralysis. And beating a BIG name, who was still pretty competitive even at that age just gives the story a bit of glitter. Congrats to the guy, that halo would have been the pits
Had the privilege of meeting Ward not long after he retired. It was a small-time autograph session at a pub in Nashua NH. I was a much larger man at the time, probably 60 pounds heavier and in prime of my life. I’d had a few scuffles in my past and could throw, but I remember shaking his hand and thinking this guy would kick my ass in very short order. Humbling experience. He seemed such a kind gentleman. Anyway, his autographed photo has been on display in the man-cave ever since. ✌️
This is what intestinal fortitude looks like. These two warriors left everything in the ring. This is the sport that I love. This is boxing.
And the winner irish micky warrrrdddd 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇺🇸🇺🇲🇺🇸🙌🙌👏🤝🤝.. best trillogy off all time easily tuff as they come to win a brutal 3rd fight like that with a broken hand most off the fight trew grit and tuffness there not like this now after a tuff first fight now way now a days would they have a second fight never mind a 3rd.. RIP arturro gatti sad how it ended what a champion 🙌🙌🙌🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
He’s still a brilliant boxer and still doing his thing respect to him
I love all the latins thinking Canelo is great. He will never be a legend. In the shadow of Mayweather. Fought ONLY in Burrito Belt ,more mexicans that at Alamo! Great ones fight EVERYWHERE! Phony local hero.
Wow, somebody revoke my boxing fan card, never have seen that fight before. It's like the Hagler Hearns war stretched out for ten rounds
extraordinarily bad ass boxing...i am in tears, Gatti vs Wards legendary.
Getting was throwing alot of low blows. Alot
They don't make them like that anymore
Where did you find those fights with this quality?
All I have to say about this is: lol
Klitschko fought old man here, if Mercer was young, Mercer Wil would have won.
Another black gobby boxer being humbled. Never gets tiring to watch.
Boxers are not the same men as they once where! This was a pure war! You only see this in the ufc now
GGG beat CANELO
I live only a few miles from Lowell, Ma and ive met Mickey a couple times over the years and he's one of the nicest, most humble guy's you could ever meet, we all love Mickey around here and we all grew to love Arturro as we'll, they left it all in the ring and gave us some of the greatest fights we've ever seen. R.I.P Arturro, a true warrior 🙏✝️🥊
True warriors and gentlemens. Mutual respect, no dirty moves, no calculations....just fight
Mercer was way too old, but he'd always be out of class against this purist. Just too much sharpness and power for him
“He had some equally tough battles with the champagne bottle and night life” great line
Terrible title
Joe Cortez sux
When even your mom says "Jesus, he sucks.."
Paz met his nightmare vs roy jones 😂😂😂
how did their brains not become jello should have been a draw
Why was this dude talking crap to Fury, what an idiot
I don't want to hear excuses,Mercer got his ass whooped
gro got dropped, ne lol
I think if Duran hasn't been in a car accident he would still be fighting till this day lol
What an achievment ! 😒
Don't see many fights like that these days.
Suicide by hanging at 37..2 years after retiring(by loss)..boxers dont quit/retire..they just lose then its forced retirement.
Holy crap. Didn’t know that. CTE is real
He wasnt Arturo's worst nightmare, he was Arturo's imagination. "I've always wondered what it was like to fight my twin, now I know." -Gatti, talking about Ward.
Canelo LOST, and EVERYONE KNOWS IT! It’s the same situation with an older fighter fighting a younger fighter who is up-and-coming. They’re not gonna let the older fighter beat him. The older fighter has to knock him out to win. Boxing is just as corrupt as it’s always been. It’s a fucking shit show.
Hip blow is a low blow
Micky Ward is Great.
Mercer was not at his best but he was inconsistent.
Apollo Creed vs. Ivan Drago anyone?
Now this is real boxing, not this Floyd Mayweather running BS, this was the fight of the Century
Duran knocked that steroid abusing fool down twice with beautiful punches and Vinnie never put a much older man down viva Roberto Duran
Stevens should have worked on his footwork and being elusive rather than a knockout artist and ain't it guuud to see a guy who loves to knock people out getting some of his own medicine which he himself couldn't stomach
Just needs more experience
Mercer was out of shape for this fight. Its too bad, because Mercer was a pretty good fighter a few years prior to this fight with Klitschko.
Mercer’s chin could wear a guy out.
what a family, trash talker son and sore loser mom 😂
This is by far the greatest fight of all time no questions needed!!! rest in Paradise Gotti… legends never die!!!
The greatest fights in boxing history the two absolute warriors
Love it. Make these no class people pay.
