You didn't show it properly flushing after installation, which is perhaps telling. I have one of these, and it's junk. No matter what combination of chain setting or lever length, I cannot get the toilet to flush consistently. Due to the geometry of the arm rotation, the chain only gets pulled up about an inch, and my toilet needs at least 1.5 inches, and 2 is even better.

If I line up the bolts, is the seal pretty much good? I’m afraid to take a poop and test it out. How will I know if things get stuck or don’t make it down to sewage?

The most over engineered piece of crap I have ever seen.I broke the damned thing and I will bring it back to get my money.

@2:18 Does the nut and connector on the line have to make contact after you've tightened both up or is it okay to have some thread between them if you've tightened them both as much as possible?

How do you readjust the float settings? My grey and blue bars will NOT move.

As mentioned above the spacer was also to tall for my toilet. I had to trim the spacer to avoid the toilet from rocking due to the extra height. Helps this helps.

I've installed many fluidmaster fill valves over the years, and the LS, to me, is a step backwards. I believe I've always used "A" series, and the 1 LS I've installed just failed over and over because of the plastic chain floating into a little crack at the base of the buoyant plastic "bell", which prevents it from rising. Wish I had saved the receipt for that thing. Replaced after a week of continual failures

Thanks! I was a bit thrown since my fluidmaster is newer and looks a little different. I must certainly say that tweezers were a good suggestion. It took longer removing stuff with toothpicks.

Tried this, just get a trickle when I take the cap off the valve.

The video is supposed to show me how to fix the tank overflowing instead all I get is installing a completely new assembly.

Maybe this should be made more obvious… it’s not exactly uncommon for this to happen and everyone just replaces it mold some twisty arrows into the cap maybe? I’m an engineer, and couldn’t figure this out, who would think to twist the cheap plastic thing? I took off the black cap and there was no obvious entry point. A single molded counter clockwise arrow would have been extremely helpful….

Installed and we still have water running into the bowl. The tank has shut off from filling. We notice a decent flow of water going into the bowl still. What did we do wrong? Thanks for your help!!

I wish this video was a aLOT slower and without fast music. My toilet is a right hand side mount on a tank with diagonal sides. I cannot seem to get this product to work properly. Instead of pushing down, I have to lift up to get it to flush. I Am installing the through part with the “Top” words pointing up. I definitely wish it worked correctly. I tried every combination of spinning the through part and still can’t get it to work. I saw one come it says that you have to take the through part part and then put it back together upside down in order to make it work correctly. I’m going to try that next I have installed lever arms in many other toilets that are front. It takes me like two minutes max This one I worked on for four hours trying to figure out what was wrong with it. It’s not like I haven’t done this 1 million times already, but because my tank has an angled side arm, this is the only one I could use. Please make more videos installing this product and slow way down on the instructions. Also go over possible problems with the product manufacturing as stated in the other comments. Many people have trouble taking the nut off. some people I’ve seen in other videos of this. have installed the arm upside down in order to make it work .
