For me, Jesus comes first and family is a close second. The old ways of doing things have always captured my heart, but I wasn't raised doing them that way. I dream of rolling hills, singing to my dairy cows, and eating around a table with people I love, filling our bellies with down-home, farm-to-table, God-intended nutrition. So here's to the journey of old, my quest for faith, family, and farming. I hope you'll join me.

There was a windy chill atop Grandfather Mountain on May 6, 2022. However, the love in the air along with the views that went on for miles filled the event with warmth and life. I was listening to this and was thinking of my Andrew who died 5 years ago. Then, there you all were at the Rocky Springs Cemetery where he is buried. You truly have a gift!
