Wonder what it would show with a low Z meter. Would be interesting to see how much of that is inductive or capacitively coupled and just a “phantom” voltage.

I'm running into an issue (mentioned by another commenter, albeit in a very nonconstructive way...) where I am making the changes using (legacy) Chirp with both the Jul 2021 and Mar 2017 Waris.py file, writing the radio (CDM1250) using a USB (serial adapter) programming cable, but when I read the radio back in to Chirp and CPS the frequency range has been reset. No errors from either Chirp or CDM1250. Not sure what could be wrong. This is on Windows 10 and the version of Chirp legacy as of Apr 2024

Just did an R0 to R2 ( well I cheated and only did the lower VCO 438-452 ). I like that the R0 receiver and exciter doesn't have any can to remove.

I just got a Ht1550xls and need the software and the programing cable for it and want to be able to FPP for Ham use on the radio...Did u say Chirp can program the Radio??? Also do you sell or can you sell me a cable with a switch in it??? Thanks

Very nice setup! Setup a VHF 6 frequency Narrowband compliant LTR system many moons ago. Used Telewave RX muticoupler with the output running through custom made crystal filters to eliminate a lot of the interference around the site. TX combiner was also from Telewave. This system worked great once it went onto a decent tower site. At the same location we had also built up a 220MHz LTR system, it was a fiasco from the start since the FCC only allowed 1 MHz difference between RX and TX. ACSB equipment from SEA Datamarine. Was not too happy about this since I am an Amature radio operator as well and the commission stole a portion of our spectrum for this junk. Must have been a planned failure to steal spectrum. From what I gather today some 20 plus years later, this section sits idle.

So how do I change programing like frequencies scan? I have no idea how to change it seems to have me locked out. I'm a peace officer and would like to use it where I work.
