Did you mention that the Police issued a warning advising the citizens to avoid the downtown area because of the rampant, unaddressed, drug related crime? As far as infrastructure goes, check out our water treatment plant it requires $100M in upgrades that will no doubt be deferred until there is an incident. How many toxic sites are there within the city? The Bakelite, Nothern Electric, the old coal yards and tank farm down by the harbour, the Gendron site, the Morch Matrine site, just to name a few.

Not sure if we saw that big, gray one, but it seemed like we noticed the sound all afternoon, whereas our friend said they were used to it.

So, you are a bit out of touch with your view on affordability. You think your just talking to people looking to move here and buy homes but you viewers are the ones struggling, sitting on youtube. Those 1400 'options' are slums and very old beat up and poorly maintained/managed. Good luck getting property maintenance companies to upkeep a unit. Any decent 2 bed will now cost you 1800 + utilities which will take you over $2k/month, 3 beds your looking at $3K/month. Add car payments and even a decent wage job doesn't cut it here. How is anyone to grow here? Banking system has been crushing renters for half a decade now as landlords can't fathom paying ANYTHING for their own investment, so they are booting long term residents to jack up rents. My advice, if you already have a home your selling or have a VERY high paying job you can transfer here, I would steer clear of Belleville. We only build condos and luxury homes here. Nothing will be affordable for decades to come. Reality check for the masses

The video clips you use are misleading. Most of them are not Trenton. I appreciate all the upgrades and new innovations that the city has implemented in the last few years. Thanks to the city council, donors and hardworkers!

I wouldnt want to live here when Hamilton and Burlington are so good. If i was thinking about leaving the GTA I bet Winnipeg would be a great move and way better, i hope other ppl in the Golden Horseshoe area also consider Manitoba, better than Quinte West

We moved to Belleville in 2019 from the GTA. Its an awesome place for families and older people because of the stress free driving. Most places are at most ten minutes away no matter what time of day it is. Being so close to the water is great. And best of all the people are friendly here to us newcomers. Move here with confidence.

After 2 years of living in the County we sold and moved to west Belleville..Many reasons why. Tourists, Taxes, Ticks and the water situation in the County. Its a great place to visit but not to live full time. There is a strong bias against those who move in from TO.

Belleville basically is a base to drive anywhere else to “do” something. Overpriced retirement community with large addictions issues do to “services” offered, they ship them in from outside areas. Buy in Stirling, Frankford, Trenton etc not Belleville

If you don't drive, don't move here! Unless you live right downtown, there's no shopping, no medical facilities, no doctors, no restaurants, no work to go to. And...surprise! Little public transit.

I hate living here. Feels like it's becoming Toronto and not a nice small town anymore. Also I can't walk down the bike path without homeless drug addicts staring at me. All of the ally's downtown have dog shit and human urine everywhere in summer it's gross and smelly.

I don’t recommend Belleville, I grew up there and almost all my friends still there are either furries, gay, gang, or druggies. And it’s a druggie overloaded place, crime, and lots of homeless people! I know many issues that have went on there, they just don’t talk about the bad things because they don’t want to wreck their cities reputation🥱

Belleville was great 20 years ago when I went to Loyalist and got a job at Frontier. Now, it’s has its issues with drug addicts and homelessness. Very sad there now.
