Welcome to the Inn, where the Grackels may be bards, the Tri-colored-blackbirds may be Vengeance Paladins, Sparrows may be a bunch of tiny warlocks, Blue Jays may be wizards, Mourning Doves may be clerics, Crows may be rogues, Starlings may be Rangers, and Cardinals may be sorcerers.
Or, well, they could be any combination if they would like. Either way, at Birds of a Feather Inn, they indeed flock together.
Enjoy your stay, don't forget to leave a tweet-tweet-tweet!

I've always loved birds, even as a little child. There are so many different varieties. When I was a child, my parents raised chickens, ducks, and geese. My first pet was a mallard duck. I think I was four years old when my parents got the duck. I remember doing homework, laying flat on my stomach, and the mallard duck walking up to me in the house and pecking at my pencil. LOL. Those are good memories, but the duck and my parents are gone now; however, I have a lot of beautiful memories. Thanks for the reminder.
Whoa, where's my party invite? They definitely did tell their friends! 🤪😍🤗
Right? XD I've never seen that many. All feathered friends are welcome at the Inn 😀
Why are they doing that?
I've read it's territorial! The 'looking up' thing is 'who is strongest because they hold their head up longer' and the poofing I'm not as sure about, but I'm definitely thinking it's territorial (and hilarious).
@@BirdsofaFeatherInn Thanks.
I just subbed here from Singapore. Love watching the birds eating. Thanks for sharing the observation footage. A big LIKE from me. 👍🔔
I am so happy to hear that! You are very welcome :) It brings me a lot of joy to have folks be happy with the footage all over the world :D
My grackle buddies! If I ever were to get a tattoo, it would be small and most likely feature a grackle. I only discovered how much I adored them once I started observing them on the Birdcam feeders.
Hah I was considering that too! I know I wanted a crow, but no one says I can't have both. I love tatts, they're expensive but worth it in my eyes. It's insane how great they are once you see them at feeders ^^
There are my feathered buddies. They always make me smile, and it's a great way to end my work day. It was another super duper busy workday.
Grackles are so expressive!! 🥰
I know right? They crack me up XD
You've got to love the grackle flex aka poof.
@@MyOutdoorWildlife it never fails to make me laugh
I'm now a little jealous that i'll never know what it's like to fluff my feathers.
@@booskie4316 huge same for sure!
😂😂😂 wow it doubled in size!
Very poofy indeed 😂
I love grackles so much. :) I love their whole vibe. I hope your day is going well! It's been a super-busy work day, so this made me smile.
Heya :D I took a day off because of not feeling well at all, but at least I got tons more birb videos done, so! that's a plus. Gaming too. Hope your work day went well! And yes XD their vibe is so hilarious and lovely. They're such gorgeous birds. I still have no idea why they're not considered 'corvids'. I think they are indeed super intelligent. One day I want to put out a DIY bird intelligence test on cam to see what happens. (...the jays being corvids though may win the test but it'd becool to see XD)
@@BirdsofaFeatherInn, I hope you're feeling better. I'm glad you could take that time off work to rest/heal. That is so important. I'm silently cheering for the grackles; then again, I am biased. They are my favorite birds that visit the feeders.
Cute squeaky little guy 💕💕🐦💕💕
My favorite little buddies. They bring a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing. It's lovely to see that they have a peaceful place to eat. The only chaos comes from them. 🤣😆😂
For sure, that is true XD I love them so much! I'm glad to share :) I need to work on making some more so I'm up to date with the daily releases with the music.
I love these birds. They can be very territorial, and they WILL monopolize our feeders. I thought it was my little buddy, the squirrel, cleaning the bird feeders. No, upon closer inspection, it was a pair of mourning doves! They would sit at those feeders for several minutes and chase off any bird that dared show up.🤣 Other mourning doves visit that aren't as bossy.
Haha yeah that's hilarious XD My friends there often stand their ground but still don't win against the grackles (or do but only sometimes) XD
@@BirdsofaFeatherInn Very true. I have a video where a mourning dove is puffed out and eyeing the grackle that arrived at the bird feeder. The grackle just looked at the dove and kept right on eating. It was almost as if saying, "That might work on those other birds; however, it does not work with me!" 🤣
They are so adorable. I love your use of time-lapse in the video.
Thanks! Sometimes I throw random clips together but sometimes there's rhyme and reason haha. I will be time lapsingwhen a year has passed the videos I release every day lunch from my cam^^
What a variety of birds! That's my type of party. :) I started one of the audiobooks. It's a slow day at work, so I will listen to it more. :)
Aw! I hope you like it ^^ I have a feeling you'll like Ares because he also loves birds even if he's a touch...violent lol
Is very cute
Lol, sweet dork. That made me laugh. 🤣
Right?! So derpy it's phenomenal XD
Lol, it's too funny. I see the grackle didn't want to share. 🤪
They never do, and it's always so funny XD
Thank you from Australia! 🇦🇺
You are very welcome :D
They are hilarious. I am laughing at the bird stuffing its beak with seeds. czcams.com/video/-Dy9DRaF3Yo/video.htmlsi=fvA3omJtE8_2c9g-&t=109 :) The grackles are hilarious., and that blue jay is very wet! 🥰
Father I need sustenance!!
There are my feisty buddies. I keep forgetting that your opening bird animation makes me think of Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven. I read that book and his complete works when I was eight. Washing the area so they cannot pick up something is essential. I plan to make suet cakes today. I'll try to take a video at some point. I hope you have a great day!
Haha! I'm honored ^^ Funnily enough the animation is a Grackle, and I've named him Rusty. My sister is an artist and drew him for me for this channel :D That's awesome you read his works that young! And yeah for sure. I hope the birds enjoy the cake! I'll try to catch it, if I don't feel free to poke me to watch :) Have a wonderful rest of your night/day wherever it is for you!
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing
You are very welcome! I adore sharing footage of my dear friends ^^
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Red Winged Blackbird. Also, a beautiful Grackle !! Two of my favorite birds. ❤️❤️🐦⬛🐦⬛🥰🥰 Thanks for posting. 👍👍
You are very welcome, and those are AMAZING favorite birds to have :D I love both, they're so lovely ^^
Aww, they're back. We have a pair that comes to our feeder. It's so sweet. In one of my earlier videos, the male was feeding his mate. He fed her seeds from the feeder, then flew away and returned with a fly he caught. He fed it to her, and she gobbled that fly-up quickly! That was a super tasty treat for her.
I love it when they do that, it is so sweet indeed :D Feel free to link the video here too (and in your original comment) as well, I'm sure folks would love to see that in general and I don't mind. I'll give it a watch too, this stuff is awesome. That's so lovely ^^
@@BirdsofaFeatherInn, I will do that. Thank you. Funnily enough, I saw two house finches, or maybe they were house sparrows feeding each other yesterday. I thought about this comment.
@@MyOutdoorWildlife Yeah you're always free to share videos I may miss, I'm an airhead sometimes and miss it on my wall even if I'm subscribed. I think our bird channels all bring something unique and wonderful, and it's so cool how we inspire each other. House finches and sparrows are so cool :D I have a couple that comes every so often, I call them "King Crimson" and "Queen Crimson". I'll have to see if I have any recent footage ^^
I love their iridescent feather. At times they appear to be glowing. Nice voice. I just stumbled upon your short. Interesting that you included your voice. I’ve been playing around with audio this evening. Eventually I’ll include my own commentary in some of my videos..
They do, I find the feathers so pretty, I love it :D And yeah, I don't usually talk on this channel, but have a different one where I do (It's totally unrelated, horror, but I haven't done stuff on the other one for a while. Perhaps I should return to it too.) I'd love to hear some of your commentary too! I was considering doing a touch more on my end commentary-wise to for the very rare occasional video.
@@BirdsofaFeatherInn I love horror! I read my first horror book, Stephen King's The Shining when I was eight years old. I still enjoy reading.
@@MyOutdoorWildlife Oh that's awesome! I do too, it's been roughly a year since I've given that channel love, but I've been thinking of returning to it lately. If you look up here on youtube "The Uncanny Valley of Sound", you'll see my video, and my other channel, DesastrNarrations . That's where I talk more, and used to narrate horror stories too. It may be time to make a return to stuff like that as well. Hehe! Horror and birds :P
@@BirdsofaFeatherInn I was able to locate your channel, and I love it. You are very talented. I purchased two of your books on Amazon. I subscribed.
@@BirdsofaFeatherInn Ok, I've subscribed. I think this might be my oldest CZcams name. I made it when I started playing WoW, so it's been a while.
How's my little red-winged buddy doing today? I see a bird patiently waiting-it looks like a jay-and there's my buddy, the grackle.
Doing super well :D Always visiting and the first to visit the Inn when they get refills, that's for sure, hehe!
Bro providing nourishment to others is a sign that you are a beautiful person, godspeed
Aw thanks so much, that's super kind of you! It is an honor to give some food to my feathered friends for sure ^^
There are my little buddies!
Amazing and fun video 😊
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it ^^
You've got to love the bouncing. 🥰 Blue Jays are so funny. I love the music, fits perfectly with the Blue Jays.
Haha thanks! They're so dramatic, it's fun finding just the right fit for their drama XD
Lovely to see birds feeding happily ❤
Good video brother plz spot me ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love grackl
Huge same^^
They are characters, aren't they? Love them!
Right? They make me laugh so much XD
It does! Very cool effect. The earliest bird gets its pick of snacks.
More great footage at the Bird of Feather Inn.
Love the Birds and the music
I love how the blue jay slid up to the food tray. 🤣
XD I might just have a silly table for them but my gods does it lead to funny opportunities like that haha
I feed the birds at my house too😍
I love to hear that :D birds are so awesome! What's your favorite that shows up?
@@BirdsofaFeatherInn I live in Arizona and we have some Finches, wrens, doves, quails, paraloxia (Mexican Cardinals), cardinals, and the adorable hummingbirds!
They are so sweet; they are so adorable when they're wet. Perfect music. Which video editor do you use?
I use Cyberlink Powerdirector! I like a lot of the transitions. Admittedly I do not do anything fancy at all for the videos on this channel 😅Not enough time, what with my full time job. But yeah, I snag music from users on Pixabay, linked in the description! I think youtube also tosses the specific tracks there sometimes which is so nice. I like to pick music I enjoy, so I'm glad you like the music too! Also yeah they are so damn funny when wet XD Derpy feathered dinos, I'd say hahaha
Nice
Hello Vulture! ☺They are adorable and have a lot of personality. There is no way that I am going to prevent them from dining at our feeders! They are always welcome.
They are, I love them so much and am happy to hear that :)
Birds are incredible animals to watch. Very nice share.
Agreed so much and thank you, that's super kind of you!
They're my little buddies. I look forward to seeing the grackles the most at the birdcam; they have lots of personality. I've also been seeing a lot more red-winged blackbirds. They're all welcome.
Haha the redwing blackbirds are awesome, they're so darn plucky and funny ^^
...Starring me, but accidentally, er, face reveal? Kinda? XD
Do certain species get along better than others when it comes to sharing??
From what I've seen yeah hahaha. The Mourning Doves usually tolerate smaller birds. Grackles seem to puff up only at each other and while they can be mean girls so to speak, gripe with each other more. Sometimes Starlings get involved but it's been a bit since I've seen them. The cardinal couple Lord and Lady Red are tolerant to a point.
